It is just a battle cry yes. and it's a dialect in Kagoshima prefecture. sometimes seen in japanese anime, manga, video game but not in real life today.
4 years late but Dudley's storyline is him trying to get his father's car back (Red car). The green one was the one he used prior I guess ? But funny details is, during the first mirror P1 Always get the red car, but if you replay a match, the winner of last match is the one who has it. So p2 can enter with the red car as long as you keep winning. Every Dudley mirror is a fight for the jaguar
@Manuel Sacha you think so? I want to say they're about even since they trained together for a long time. And they know each other very well they pretty much are brothers.
@Manuel Sacha Ok yeah I think you have a good point, I forgot Ken had a wife and life outside of the fight. Ryu is 100 percent focus on fighting he pretty much is a nomad fighter.
THIS is how you tell a story in fighting games; the subtle interactions between two characters tell you exactly what you need to know without needing hours of exposition
I think it’s also a big contributor to Makoto’s popularity since she has so many in this game. Seeing her have to calm herself down so she doesn’t geek out fighting Ryu and yet show no hesitation faced with Akuma tells you all you need to know: this woman appreciates fighting on a whole nother level.
Yeah like you instantly know the whole story of ken and ryu with that punch clash that i already seen a lot in mixed martial combat that is just for a hello
I really love Makoto's intros. Against Dudley, she shows insane concentration. Against Ryu, how she prepares mentally to face him. Against Gouki, she doesn't have a moment to hesitate.
@@edwardgaines6561 He’s right. After we are granted permission to “play” by the Mestre, we shake hands and enter the Roda (fight circle) with an acrobatic move of our choice 😊
1:01 IS SIMPLY MY FAVORITE INTRO IN THE GAME since Dudley pulls up in his car and mokoto is right in front of it and her scarf and gi is blowing like she's some super hero
@@catisreckless4647 Ryu's backstory of wandering fighter with few connections and muddled origin, fighting just to test himself with zero other personality traits, is one of the oldest most boring cliches in the medium. He'd be more interesting by default even with another boring cliche. But as you say, to each their own.
You can feel how tense Makoto is, seeing as this is the only intro where she visibly takes a deep breath. In the others she just stands there, meditating.
Jenna jhones99 Lol they are both dicks for that comment. Didn't think I'd see ClackMan here. But he can't be that far off from the truth. I used to play Mugen as a kid even then I knew what special intros were.
I wish they should make a special intro of Ken and Yun, because one of Ken's hobby is skateboarding, and it's Yun's too. It would be so cool see Ken and Yun in their skates.
Lore wise she thinks everyone is dancing with her which is why she's so friendly to everyone. As her fighting moves are based on capoeira, a Brazilian dance fighting style.
It's kinda funny. Alex and Hugo are supposed to be representations of Hulk Hogan and Andre The Giant. In fact, Hugo was called 'Andore' in Final Fight. What I'm getting to is that little chest-bump Hugo does on Alex at the beginning. That was one of Andre The Giant's special attacks on WWF Wrestlemania game for the (NES) back in the day. :0)
The second intro is my favorite one, from the song to the simple choreography, and the scenery, it's just so chill but so cool to see. Gave me some kind of Samurai Champloo vibe for some reason.
In the first two Street Fighter 3 Dudley is searching his father's car, meanwhile he is using the green one and challenge Gill for the red one. The winner takes the car (if you are the one with the red and lose the match, the other is going to stay with the red). Sorry for my bad english.
@@aymen_b1267 he was quoting the introduction to the championship match of WrestleMania III, Hulk Hogan vs Andre the Giant, which is exactly what that into is based on
When I played this on Dreamcast with my friends, we would NEVER see any of these special intros because they would just keep picking Ken every time. The only one they would ever see is Ken vs Ryu if I were to pick Ryu, which wasn't too often.
In Q vs. Yun special intro, a person is missing from the running pack. He wears a hat similar to Yun's during Q vs. Dudley intro. Also, a woman is missing in Remy vs Q. Could that be Remy's sister?
The latter wouldn't surprise me because her she's purposely placed behind another woman such that you don't see her face in the other Q intros. That first part, is rather interesting. I could picture a what-if scenario where Yun had an admirer due to participating in either a Fei Long film(SFiv), or being showcased in the tournament, or being made famous by Gill's respect in the ending. If that little kid got hurt by Q, especially if it was one of those types of scenes where the kid mistakes Yun's bravery for idiocy and confronts Q without running like the rest, then it'd make sense that Yun would have reason to fight the ex-human. Sounds like a job for Game Theory lol
Elena's mirror intro is a reference to Capoeira's version of sparring known as Jogo. Both participants touch hands while crouched down before exploding into the ring
I always wondered why Dudley wants to run over Makoto. Also, no idea if it's special or not, but it's missing Ken vs Akuma where Ken tries to punch Akuma and he backs off and poses.
Imagine if they brought back the fist bump into the newest Sf. Would love to see Grandmaster Ryu and Depressed Ken hit a fistbump for old time's sake 😞
Pretty much all street fighter chicks are pretty cool,as long as they don't make any of them gay and not fuck over the originals like tekken I say street fighter has a good future
@@MGrey-qb5xz Well...about that..Remy is Gay and they deurbanized Sean from the looks of it in SFV. Ibuki was more mature of a character in 3rd strike in terms of presentation and now she's a giddy airheadded ninja girl. Little by little the characters are getting wrecked.
Alex: mini buff dude Hugo: did he use steroids? (Hugo from the movie Hugo) Makoto: she always does that Ibuki: WOAH ITS A VER OF SHIEK Ryu: everybody knows him Ken: like the lil sidekick and roundhouse Yun: them baggy pants tho Yang: hair stays spiky even under weather o.O Elena: them dance moves tho Dudley: Tyson with a lil moustache Twelve: WOAH LIVING DRY CLAY O.o Necro:looks like a villian from FF... Sean: he LOOOOOVES volleyball ehh? How neat is dat Q: Possessed Nick Valentine? Remy: the games "ITS NOT A PHASE MOM" Gouki: Ryu like Ganon
