Great stuff! I wonder how they got characters like Dee Jay in there in the home versions. You reckon they just used left over stuff from the arcade version?
Blanka and Dee Jay were digitized for the arcade game, but they couldn't be fully implemented due to time constraints. Capcom probably reused that footage for the home console game.
That was fucking amazing bro. I still play this game on my Sega Saturn every week because it's based on the super turbo engine and not the shitty arcade game that most people are thinking of. If you love Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo.....you can get into this one real easy.
0:34 - This has to be the worst super ever. "Okay, I'll just hold my arms up and wait for the editor to slide my cut-out across the screen. Yeah, that will look great!"
Don't forget about his weird ass special where he stabs himself to magically shoot blood in an arc while hurting the opponent and causing no damage to himself :/
I wonder if Izumonjin got inspiration from GeoM MoDinside training room ep 5. in which he uses guile in AE2012ed and show off that hardcore charging technique by which you have to release the st.MP sonic boom as soon as its charged. Desks hardcore charging vid goes in depth about it.
I really don't think that's the same thing, because here Guile walks forward, does a st.P, then cancels to a Sonic Boom. I saw the desk vid and I don't think he was walking forward between Booms.
The Japanese game is actually different of the its USA counterpart??? That I didn't know about. And it seems less broken than it too. Cool! It even resembles a regular SF game from that time. How can they make such a crap out of the USA version??? That game is so broken that it is certainly worse than the worst MUGEN game anyone can make!
