Love that they chose to remix his 2nd Impact theme! Of course I assumed it was gonna be his 3rd Strike theme, so this was a very nice surprise and throwback
I love how it uses his 2nd impact theme "nile" with some elements of his new generation theme "judgement day" it sounds very ethereal yet intimidating.
@@user-tzzglsstle585e38 I see what you are saying, since it does sound very positive towards the player. However, I think the positive vibe is intended to be representative of his own ego and God complex. He views himself as a savior and so fittingly his theme has the melody and guitar of one. The main melody tells you this guy is the savior of humanity, the harder sounding drums and bass tells you that this guy is truely a monster who will crush you with one hand if you get in his way. Unlike Urien and his theme, Gill does not immediately scream villain, but when you know who he truely is, his theme becomes less of an encouragement to the player and instead the anthem used by an emperor to feed his god complex. That's why I think it sounds intimidating to me, because it sounds like a false god on a mission to rule the world by any means necessary.
One of the weirdest bad guys in the saga. I hated him as a final boss, but I didn't find him as annoying in SFV. With the right balancing, he's a mid tier character.
