Got the opportunity to physically play Ken Masters in this Live action fan film. Doing the voice is fun but this was the bomb!
The Devil Gene
The Satsui no hadou
Both hide in the depths of one's soul and are unrelenting powers that plague the heroes of the Tekken and Street fighter universes respectively. "Is the quest for power just when the cost is your own humanity?" When these two powers discover the existence of one another, it changes the fate of many warriors from both worlds.
When the renowned world warrior Ryu, (from Street Fighter lore) begins to struggle with the darkness inside (The "Satsui no hadou") it attracts the attention of a man who has come to fully accept his own darkness, Kazuya Mishima (Tekken series regular). With the Devil Gene howling inside Ryu's mind, Kazuya attacks, catching him off guard and taking advantage of his battle within. Who will win when these worlds collide?

@@reggiemars2k8 In case you missed it, it's Devil May Cry reference, as Ryu is played by actor who mocapped and voice acted Vergil and Ken is played by actor who mocapped and voice acted Dante. "Foolishness, Dante, foolishness." is one of lines Vergil spoke to Dante

Oh my god. First of all, the attention to details to pay respects to the orginal source material without going overboard is insane. Second, the fight scenes were amazingly choreographed. 3rd, there has to be a go fund me page or something to make this have a sequel. Please do not let it end like this!!!

It's been 6 years since this was released and I'm still mad we never actually got a proper ending. The joys of fan/independent films, as good as they are they normally end on a cliffhanger with no chance of a conclusion. It's enough to drive a man to madness sometimes... Oh well guess you just gotta be grateful what's actually there exists. Another awesome fan flick is Resident Evil: Dante's Nightmare, a Resi X DMC short.

Demon Dethchase There is a conclusion to the story, but it's playing Street FighterXTekken single player as Ryu/Ken....but it's an extremely underwhelming experience.

Happy times watching this. You roleplaying as Ken was awesome. Dan did a great job as Ryu. I had no idea he spoke fluent Japanese like you did. Your Japanese is hot, btw. As for Mark Musashi, he did a great job as Kazuya. Wasn't there suppose to be a sequel to this short?

Devil May Cry didn’t have Japanese voice actors until UMVC3, so in theory he is the Japanese voice actor

@@alexanderosborne8778 I would have loved Reuben voicing him in Japanese as well but Toshiyuki Morikawa is a voice good actor from my experience of watching things he is in (he has been the Japanese voice of Dante since the 2007 anime), I've never played DMC in Japanese, I mainly know him from mecha anime for reference

This is a cool fan made movie. One thing I notice in any particular fighting game movies or fan made clips is that all fighter characters are too lean and lack in "muscle mass." If only they could capture that and the looks of a character, I bet you that person is sold and born to play that game character. In this case, I really like the person who played Kazuya Mishima, he stood out the most. The fighting choreography and cgi effects of this fan made were great. Remember: "Muscles Matter" and they should be the top priority in every fighting game movies or formats.

These actors are actually all top level mocap actor/stuntsmen/va. Reuben Langdon did mocap for *Dante* in Devil May Cry 3&4, and is also the voice actor of *Ken Masters* (SFIV&SFV). Dan Southworth did mocap for *Vergil* in Devil May Cry 3&4. Musashi did mocap for a number of games, such as Bayonetta, God Hand, The Last of Us, UnCharted 4, etc.
