Dan Hibiki is unironically my favorite Street Fighter character. I like how he started as a joke character and really grew into his own thing as the series went on. I also like that if you look, subtly he actually got stronger as the series went on. Like he's still a goof, but he as genuinely improved on a lot of his techniques and developed his style.
Believe it or not, but in SFA Dan was actually better than Chun Li and Adon (who both sucked in this game, surprisingly enough). This is both due to Dan actually having some good qualities (solid normals, high meterless damage) and the jank of the game itself, with Dan being mostly spared from the most unfortunate stuff.
I like the home ports of SFZ not only because of the inclusion of two soundtrack, but the fact that Dan also have unique voice clips instead of sharing voices with Ryu, Ken, and Guy.
Mr. Satan is supposed to be a really good fighter... for a human. The problem is that he's basically (real-world) Hulk Hogan in a series where even low-tier characters can blow up the moon with a casual gesture.
