Thai people are so sensible.. they way they setup food shop....and dress n prepare....and serve food ...... always humbled to see Thai street food videos.
That soi was my first introduction to Thailand, stayed at a condo right behind Mac Cafe down from Chiang Mai University for a month. My love for the country was born there, loved every minute of this one Chris👍
I'm from Thailand and living in USA/ DC. I love watching your show, it makes me want to move back to Thailand to eat all the delicious authentic Thai food. Thanks for sharing. Happy holidays!!🙏🎉

Pad Krapao is the best dish! During the lock downs I teached myself to make my own Pad Krapao at home. I still miss Thailand and Thai-streetfood... but I do it with a full belly of pad krapao.
Im coming to Thailand next year Chiang Mai is now on the top of my list of must see places, Im a lover of street food and cant wait to try these for myself thanks for the great video guys
Can't wait, don't have to wait. Come on. Thailand. There are many retired people from working to live in Thailand. The reason is because I want to have peace and freedom to live more. Some people spend the rest of their lives here. because relatives in foreign countries have passed away It's like finding a new home to start a happy life.
I've been miserable all week stuck in cold wet UK, but this video really cheered me up and made me smile watching you both enjoying the lovely food, I felt like I was there with you! Thanks guys and take care of yourselves - from Ray. 💖💖
Chiang Mai is blessed to have so much excellent street food. I do prefer the videos with no added music as I think it best captures what is actually happening.
Fantastic video. My father RIP had a very special place in his heart for Thailand. He loved the friendly people, fantastic food, and gorgeous gold courses lol. Watching your channel is like seeing him again.
Wow mmmmmmmmm 😋😋😋😋 I feel so hungry now, I miss Thai street food and the people along with the amazing country... I am stuck in cold ❄️ UK hopefully me my little princess will get to Thailand in the new year...
I've been travelling a lot in Cambodia, so I don't know thai street food but I've spent 1 day in the Rama Garden Hotel in Bangkok and their buffet was amazing, it was refined, delicious and even their western pastries were better than in France or Belgium, crazy 😅this was one of the best food experience I had 👌
Love it! Very much appreciate how you show real life happenings in Thailand, Chris. Music and editing is nice and all .. but this kind of vid really gives us more a feel of what's really happening .. sounds of people, dishes being made, motorrrrbikes .. and the great colors and friendliness of the people. You can almost even smell the food! :) Good stuff!
actually this kind of videos can be boring or exciting, always depending on the RU-vidr. There are not a lot of RU-vid that can do this so entertaining and exciting like you!!! So keep on doing! Just RAW walk arounds from sightseeing. I prefer this much more than the condo tours. My gf and I will be in Chiang Mai end of January till middle of February! I hope you two will be there for a little while and do more videos, so we get some impressions! Thank you for you work Chris!
Thank you for liking Thailand Food streets are everywhere in Thailand. and it never sleeps every time you are hungry just you walk out you will eat 55555555
I'm Thai and another big fan of Langmocho Street , really like your mood and tone , just keep simply describing and walking without effects ,no background sound so nothing to distract me from your content. Thanks for vids , I love it.
Pad kra prao=Thai Burger or Thai fast food Americans have fried chicken burgers, Thais have Pad kraprao. And fried eggs of this restaurant. The merchant will separate the egg yolk and egg white. Then fry the egg white to crispy first, then pour the yolk over the egg white again. And ก๊วยเตี๋ยวลุยสวน noodle roll, if it's green sauce (seafood sauce), this menu will be called kuay tiaw lui suan (it means noodle in the jungle). If eaten with salad dressing, it will be salad roll. 😁😁🙏🙏
amazing comment. my hope with this channel is that each video STARTS a conversation that others add to. so your useful information added onto this topic is EXACTLY what i'm hoping we get more of here. cheers!
Love the street food walking tours! I can't wait to get back to Thailand to try some of the dishes. Until then, I'm starving for Thai snacks in America (ugh). I'm retiring at the end of 2022 and plan to spend next winter in Asia so it won't be long now...
*Oh you make me miss Thailand so much! Thank you so much for this video! :) - can;t wait to go back there! :) For now I'm eating my way through chicken kebabs in Istanbul haha :)*

Chiang Mai is my favourite city in Thailand and I love the variety of street food and food generally in CM. This style of video is great. It is nice to hear the sounds and see the sights in an unadulterated fashion! By the way, DHL delivered my T-shirt a few hours ago. It looks great!!
This absolutely does bring me back memories of Thailand! Chiang Mai is my fav place, and its also my favorite part of Thailand that i've been. Thank you youtube algorithms for sending me this vid. Subscribed.
That pad krapow looked delicious, my fave dish too. Surprised there wasn't a mango, sticky rice and coconut sauce in there too, my dessert favourite. Nice video Chris and Hayley, I'm salivating! 🤤
Hi Chris and Haley I'm new to your channel, but already in love with the content. This took me back to my time in Thailand, love the variance in the food, colours, textures and the smiles. Thanks for this vid, really injoyed the format, stay well, cheers from Australia.🙏
Enjoyed this one Chris 👍🏻👌🏻 Only problem was - wasn’t hungry before I started watching it, damn hungry for those delicious Thai flavours now though! 🙏🏻🙏🏻
I always love your food videos. I miss the yummy food in Thailand soooooo much. Looks like July will be the earliest I can get back to the Land of Smiles so keep the food videos coming please
Greetings from Down Under, Chris! You don't need to worry about eating sushi from a street vendor in Thailand - It is safe to eat! Remember - sushi started as a street food in Japan at the end of nineteenth century, before the refrigeration was invented... Injay, who is my best friend in Chiang Mai, has s sushi restaurant and is also selling his sushi at different nigh markets all around Chiang Mai! I had sushi at his place literally dozens of times - with no ill effect whatsoever! by the way, he doesn't charge me any more, since we are friends, you see... I have been inside his street stall many times and I can assure you that he uses ice to keep the fish fresh, and also, most of the fish he uses is either heat treated or marinated!
amazing comment. my hope with this channel is that each video STARTS a conversation that others add to. so your useful information added onto this topic is EXACTLY what i'm hoping we get more of here. cheers!
Hi Chris....talking about strawberry in Chiang Mai. Now, we can grow it. Many years ago, the King Rama 9 asked the team to study how to grow starwberry in Thailand and after that the team develop a stawberry type that groweable in Thailand and the King gave seeds to people in his 80th birthday. The type of this strawberry called "strawberry 80" and grow in many places in Chiang Mai
5:51 The baby is super cute!! 😇💕 I love this kind of content, Chris!! Amazingly fun! For a long street you see various international street foods! Thai, Chinese, Japanese (Takoyaki) , Western (Steak&fondue), Vietnamese (Pho), I better stop counting! 🥰😅
Great vid again Chris , no music required mate the natural sounds and what you show us keeps us missing Thailand and can’t wait to get back over , love any street food or small restaurant options , gotta go now dam hungry for Thai
I just ate dinner and now I'm crazy hungry again. I totally agree - no need for music or fancy production. Hope you're planning to take a few lessons with "John" at ITM massage while you're there. That little dude is ageless and I'm sure he's great in front of a camera. I did a 1-week course there on 2 occasions. Would love to go back again.
Thanks for reminding me that I need to go back to that street. I'm still fairly new in Chiang Mai and still discovering new food, pad krapow was my favorite, then I found out about pad krapow moo krop. Them vegetarian rice wraps remind me of banh cuon in Vietnam, will be sure to try them out soon!
There's a northern Thai soup called yum jin gai. It's a slightly spicey soup with chicken, veggies and coriander, and might be the best soup I've had in Thailand. From what I remember, it's not super easy to find, but it's well worth it.
Totally awesome! We love Chiang Mai too and always stay in the north east as well! It was such fun to recognize the neighborhood and have you confirm that you were in that part of the old city. It will be so much fun to watch your videos around Chiang Mai. When you were craving one food in particular, I just knew you were going to say Khao Soi! It is also my favorite. I love it everywhere, but it is so very special at the tiny restaurant near the temple on the northern street, called Khao Soi Khun Yai. Hope it is open for you to try! Please keep the videos coming!
@@RetiredWorkingForYou Loved your walk. We will definitely visit these street food options when we get back to Chiang Mai. Thank you so much for sharing. Love this type of video!
Hello, I really like this video clip. Thank you so much for showing your love for Thailand. I'm Thai and I just clicked to watch your video. I feel that you are a lovely person and I believe that Thai people or people of different nationalities who come to see them will love you. Thank you for broadcasting good angles in Thailand. Wish you have a good day and have a good time in Thailand.
