India is very rich culture and country aswell. You love your country and culture even more than us peruvians. We are just re discovering our wonderfull country again. Thanks
Totally agree with you. Peru has some of the best food in the world. We're full time travelers and have just wrapped up our stay in Peru. We'll definitely miss the food and the culture.
OMG! Peru is amazing. I had visited Peru 3 times in my lifetime. I was just there two years ago. The fact that I’m Trilingual (fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese) makes it a lot easier for me to communicate with them. Peruvians are the best. if if you have not gone to Lima, Peru, trust me, you’re missing out big time. Thanks Mark for always exposing the best of each country. Love you all! Los amo a todos! Mis respetos para mi gente de Peru. Son los mejores!
Peruvian food is by far the BEST food in South America, I visited many countries around there before, Chile, Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, even Brazil, all good but Peruvian food is SOMETHING ELSE!!!🇩🇪❤🇵🇪!!!
Peruvian cuisine is the best in the world! I am a Greek chef work in one of the best restaurants in Mykonos and I specialise on nikkei cuisine ! I’m obsessed with Peruvian culture and I’ll visit Lima on December.
I rarely comment, and perhaps no one will see this especially since I am so late, but this had to be one of the most entertaining episodes that I have watched of Mark's! I was in a bad mood and could not sleep, so I started watching his videos. Thank you for the laughs, and the informative descriptions of the food @MarkWiens. It really lifted my mood! So awesome! You are the best!
This video refreshed my memories living in Lima few years back. The best country with a variety of delicious food and warm welcoming beautiful people. Much love Peru from Sri Lanka !!

30 minutes in and I have already fallen for Peru. It's such a beautiful and bountiful country. Already knew a bit through Sir David Attenborough, Anthony Bourdain, and general knowledge, but seeing the agriculture, the heart of the person who shared a drink with all of you, the smiles and the overall variety of fruits and vegetables have taken me all in. I have to visit Peru. I wish I could work there. Thank you for bringing a bit of Peru to me. All my love and respect for Peru and the people of Peru from Dhaka, Bangladesh. Take care.
There are over 4,000 varieties of potatoes in Peru... Every one I tried was amazing! Peru definitely has some of the best food i have had during my travels.
Mark I can safely say I have watched every vlog you have produced, you Peru vlog is in your top 20 !! Great job . Hello from Ireland Keep up the great job you doing.!!!
Totally agree Gerard. We're also full time travelers and are just leaving Peru. We spent some time there. It's really remarkable. Ireland is definitely on our list.

Toni, that's a great plan to have. Peru is incredible. We're full time travelers and we're just finishing up here in Peru and it's been absolutely amazing. The food here is unreal. Hope you get to come to Peru one day. You'll love it.
I’m Peruvian and I moved to the states when I was 10 and my favorite memories growing up in Peru is going to the fruit market and eating street food like this. Lovedddd this video
Machu Picchu is only the peak of the iceberg. Often considered a world wander and a masterpiece/masterwork of architecture and engeenery. Peru has much tp.offer from food to culture, people and traditions
@@thelifesampler It's very pricey. Because it's prob the most important touristic site, they need to regulate the influx of people and hte way they do it is by putting a big price tag for the whole trip. Big bucks to get to Aguas Calientes (the little town, in the slopes of Machu Picchu), another big bucks to go to the actual citadel and finally another price to get entrance. Also for some people they think it's very crowded, altough when i went it didn't feel that way. It certainly is very big so the citadel doesn't feel crowded, but some people like to have the "authentic" desolate ruins feel, whatever that means.
@@thelifesampler While if you have never been to cusco and Machu Picchu, going to there is a must, but you can also have much more entertaining ruin visits in Cusco that have pretty similar architecture to the inca Machu Picchu citadel. The most important one would be Choquequirao, which is very close to the Cusco city. Others include the Living city of Ollantaytambo, the Pisaq Ruins, the Tipon- Pukara alto Ruins, and the actual rebel citadel of VIlcabamba, the last bastion of Inca rebels. All of them in the Cusco region. The most important Inca site outside of Cusco region would probably be Vilcashuaman church, which is on top of amazing Inca architecture.
I had authentic Peruvian food in Orlando and it blew my mind. Absolutely one of the best food cultures in the world. And it starts with the ingredients.

My boyfriend is from Peru, and when ever I go visit, I watch all the videos I can and make a list of where I want to visit and what foods I want to eat. It's the food and the people that will make me move to Peru, since it is a lot healthier for me there than it would be for him to move to the US. Thank you for this video, will hopefully visit the markets this year!
I'm from Peru and let me tell you this, in Lima you can find everything in those street markets, it's freaking hard almost impossible to be in a good shape and live in Peru, there are different dishes, sauces, all over the country. When I was living in USA, I really missed the food in my country. Simply, I can't live without it.
@@enoughofthis you can actually find some through yelp, I went to a couple of peruvian restaurants in USA, they were not bad, but it's nothing compare to the ones in Peru. My advice would be to visit Peru and try the best of the best here.
I’m a Peruvian living abroad, and I’m so proud of my country!! I’m gonna be in Lima next week and I’ll definitely check out a few places you are showing in the video!! THANK YOU MARK!!
If you don't eat any chemicals you will die. You need some real education in your life, not some trendy, hippie guy in the van on LSD science. Go back to school, you have failed.
It's so awesome to see you enjoying Peruvian food! My wife is from Peru and I've had the chance to experience so many of the same foods that your enjoying. Peru truly has amazing food that the world needs to hear about and see!

I think Peru is one of the countries that still have its original fruits vegetables and animals it has not been genetically modified. They still have some of the rarest fruits in the world. They have the real stuff. Would like to go there someday.
Ann Other I live in Europe and everything is genetically modified, the fruits and vegetables has no taste!!! I went to Peru and it was the first time in my live I tasted real free GMO food and oh god!!! Strawberries super sweet, tomatoes taste so good!!!
here we can smell and touch certain fruits but it is when we eat them that we realize something abnormal: there is no taste while the smell and taste normally communicate! Greetings from Algeria !
@@HotdogSosage GMOs are banned in Europe. You're confusing that with poor farming methods and artificial lights, fertilizer etc. The only GMOs allowed are in animal feed. look it up!!1 it's the only thing I like about the EU!

Carol. The one place we didn't try is Chef Timour's restaurant. We're definitely going to have to try when we're back in Lima. We're also full time travelers and we're finishing up our Peru series and it is by far one of the best countries we've visited. Thank you
Wow this guy is such a pleasure to watch.. normally his level of enthusiasm for everything would feel cloying and really irritate me but he's just so genuine that I'm completely enchanted
Has demostrado mucha humildad y genuina satisfacción x la gastronomía peruana.
