Lugaw or Porridge in general is traditionally thought of as food for the sick people due to the fact that it's bland, easy to eat, and fulfilling. It's also eaten for breakfast to start the day with a hearty warm bowl. Today, since I'm a little bit under the weather, we're going to start our Malolos Bulacan Food trip at Lugaw ni Abel! Yes indeed 'Lugaw ni Abel' is one of the best lugaw in Malolos dahil yung pinagpakuluan mismo ng mga laman loob ng baka yun ang isinabaw sa lugaw! Try to visit also 'Valenzuela Bahay Pawid' in Malolos bypass ibang klase rin ang lugaw nila with a twist of pork's brain 😁. Stay safe and GOD Bless ♥️🍻☺️

Lugaw became more popular after they added brains and eyes? You Filipinos.🤣 Try advertising brains and eyes here in the states...out of business in a week! I'm going for Filipino food for lunch tomorrow. No eyes or brains...I do like tongue. Not easy to find here, kinda like brains and eyes.😁 What happened to Singapore? Going back?

im from the center of vicinity of malolos bulacan.. im sorry tell you..however, hindi mo na po inabutan ang mga nagtitinda ng authentic at antique style of cooking like lugaw and goto... the kind of porridge na kulay yellow dahil sa mantika ng baboy at ang pinang tatoppings nila ay dried saffron flowers and murang dahon ng sibuyas or bawang..

In malolos din po also sa kabayanan mismo.. Kaso matagal ng wala ang belen's carinderia.. Yun ang nagtitinda nuon ng lugaw at goto na inabutan ko na naglalagay ng dried saffron flowers at murang dahon ng sibuyas at bawang as toppings.. Ang kasabayan ng belen's ay ang enyang's at lina na both are situated now in our city market.. Isa pang nabibilhan ng lugaw at goto sa malolos ay yung carihan sa fish market ng brgy. Panasahan.. Meron din kaming tinatawag na nilugawang talaba ng brgy. Bagna naman also in malolos.. I also experienced the arroz galantina of my late mentor mr. Dez bautista.. Yun po yung lugaw nilang mga old rich family ng malolos na may malalaking tipak ng parte ng manok, liver and gizzard at chicken blood na sangkap.. The recipe came up from their chinese meztisos root that came here in malolos wayback the early years of 1700's.. Kaya yung mga napuntahan nyo po na kainan in malolos like lugaw ni abel at Citang's in brgy sta. Isabel ay ilan lang sa mga kainan sa malolos na pwede nyo dayuhin.. Pero, may mas malalalim pa po na Institusyon ng kainan kesa sa kanila kung usapin ng pagkayan (pagkain at kasaysayan) ang pag uusapan..
