This is the coolest channel ever. I know it's called Eat Sleep Yangon, but try expanding into culture, history, travel, religion, etc. Thank You ESY.

There are a few episodes with this. But I don’t believe that is the real intent of this channel. Unfortunately, with most of the hospitality / retail trade shut for pandemic, the majority of videos for the past year is street food. Self evident really.

I find the EatSleepYangon videos very interesting. As an Indonesian, we also have many street foods here and I love street foods!. Hopefully I can also visit Yangon one day to try the Burmese street foods! P.S I love it when Alice is the host! Charming, naturally beautiful and smart!

This is another great video and the host presents it very well. You have made me want to travel to Burma after covid! Only they could improve the hygiene of the stalls near the busy road a little - I guess it would, e.g., not hurt to cover the products at 9:16 . What is the cream on their faces like at 10:55?

Hello, the paste on the face is called "Tha-na-kha". Extracted by grinding the bark of the "Tha-na-kha tree". It is good for blocking harmful sun's uv. "Thanakha - Wikipedia" en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thanakha

nice video... can anyone find "Aw Kay Kyi aka pan fried daikon cake"'? one of my favorite street food "only"' in Yangon has an unique taste and texture.

I guess you meant to say "aww kway kyi". That particular street food can only be found in China Town of Yangon.
