Just watched this as my first video with you. Great job. Enjoy all the cut of "extra" footage. Nice to just watch racing. Wish the final time was shown after each race though. Just hard to gauge mph
That fox body mustang that hit the wall was me cousin he runs an auto body shop in Fall River mass called county street collision anyone in the area that needs work should check it out, yes he’s fixing the car himself and he’s proud of the fact he can do that
Thank you! Yeah I had a lot of fun out there, and the 20 hour drive isn't too bad. I listen to a lot of the Joe Rogan podcasts and that keeps my mind busy and the time flies by. Thanks again for watching!
Brad didnt have a stuck throttle it was a timer on the nitrous that keep feeding the motor for a split second even after lifting, his puke tank was over full and dumped fluid in front of the right tire
Chuck 55 has two of these red Bel-air now and this one has a Sonny's 880 cubic-inch motor. In my next video releasing on Friday you will see the new 55 Chevy that he brought out. Thanks for watching!
I know, I think that is the best pass I've ever seen him make. Pretty cool seeing the different stages of Nitrous kick in as he was going down the track.
Great video! My favorite race was watching Jeff Lutz & his 57', race Chuck 55 in his 55"! It looked like something you'd see in the 60's... But a good bit faster! LOL! Man, that last race was close! I didn't think anyone could run with Ryan Martin, until I saw that race and watched Jeff Lutz beat him earlier. He must be having some car problems or several others have finally got their cars sorted and running hard. What do you think or know about that tomeighty?
The only problems that Ryan Martin was having was the track, it was tricky for everyone that day. So guys were dialing the cars back big time in this event to stay straight.
Good job on staying on top of the 'race notes'; nothing more frustrating than videos not telling the viewer what the heck's going on. I was drag racing in the '60's & '70's, and have watched thousands of races, and I still can't figure out what the hell's going on, sometimes!
Thank you, I take pride in doing that. It takes a little extra time to do that but I know a lot of people appreciate it. And I think I'm the only video guy out there doing that right now. Thanks for watching and the feedback!
Hey, I appreciate what you're doing, but your intuition kind of sucks. Spectators want to see the train wreck rather than it peacefully pull into the station. If you see something going wrong, stick with it. You can tell everybody who won later.
What part are you talking about, I'm confused? If you are talking about when B-Rad went for the wall, I don't feel bad about following him on the camera because he just spun the tires off the line and 99% of the time that would be the wrong car to follow. But with his throttle sticking it was a different story.
@@tomeighty Sorry, I should have put the time stamp there, but yeah, B-Rad. You said, " I don't feel bad about following him on the camera..." But you didn't. You followed the winner, when you should have stuck with B-Rad. Anyway, keep up the coverage. It's too bad you can't get down into the burn box.
Chevy Show with Racing @ Memphis International Raceway 4/22-4/24. I am going, but I’m sure people would love to see some videos from it. Drag Races including ProMods and others.
Those that think 1/8 mile is too short, have never gone 180mph in 660 feet. 1/4 mile @ 230mph is expensive as it breaks parts. Stay with ur 12 second car @ 110mph in 1/4.
thrashcore101, Yeah, me too, and there's always a chance that they could be badly hurt or killed. Thankfully, with the safety regulations they have these days, that is a rare occurrence.
Ed Pettisani, At one time in the not so distant pass I would have argued with you, but finally my *"common sense"* kicked in and I know now and fully agree with and understand that exactly what you said is very true.
Good racing, when there's no traction? When you say most action, do you mean most out of control cars and wrecks? A good drag race shouldn't be called that unless there's no wrecks and good traction. This isn't a demolition derby!
Yeah on my Instagram page Big Chief replied to one of my posts saying they were going to make it to a few of these races this year. Not sure which one though.
I know, that was soooo close. Great racing action all day. I will be posting up the "Saturday Race" on this Friday, and there is some equally good racing on that day. Thanks for watching!
The camera angle did not reflect how close it was would love to see the times and speed there doing but still thank for taking the time and effort on making great videos
Thanks buddy. I'm sure Discovery will have some great shots of that finish they do a great job. Regarding speed the top guys say that they are around 200 mph when crossing the 1/8th mile marker. It might have been a bit slower in this race with how bad (or good) the track was.
Yeah I hope he stays in it for the season also. His car looks more like a stock car than most do, that's what I like (I'm sure under the shell it is a different story though).
