Next up in True Romance is Street Player with a brilliantly radiant recording that harpoons right to the core of hay-day French Filter House. All of the key ingredients are present and are sounding as fresh as ever; swirling synths, balmy guitar samples and a gorgeously honeyed vocal are all set in motion by a ripe, punchy rhythm section.
The power is in the simplicity as progress rolls into a filtered, string- licked breakdown that allows space for the vocals to bloom in full colour.
