For all of you NW dirt track fans, a couple names and a long forgotten place... Silverdale Speedway #37 - Dave 'Snoopy' Grayson #26 - Jim 'The Purple Baron' Seeds If you were ever there, you would have seen the same level of racing, edge of your seat!
So unfortunate the lapped green Camaro got in the way of the silver Camaro..... it cost him the win.... But kudos to the black Monte Carlo for digging in for the win....that inside line was also not his friend.
He was “digging in for the win” on the inside line for real you can almost watch him gain more ground and catch up to the outside run the more rubber he was laying on that line.
back in my day you had to run a stock motor, wet sump pan, factory cast iron exhaust manifolds, two barrel carb and if allowed a HIE ignition, no messing with the suspension etc, back then it was messing with springs and shocks to be able to go fast, plus tire stagger and maybe a nine inch ford rear end, so the axles dont end up in the grandstand.
