@@rodm2345 it's easy you just drive and let the brushes do the work, then empty. These days the computer logs sweeping hours that you boss can see. I am now using a Johnstone CN202 which is more fun and challenging.
That's the same type we have in my little town. Those machines are fast and powerful. They don't have to slow down too much. I just piled leaves onto the street in a 50' by 7' foot area about 1' high. It will probably make quick work of it.
Heavy leaf season sucks for both vacuum and mechanical sweepers....my broom bear picks up almost everything on the first pass and I hit it again to leave it clean...just need to have your pattern and adjustments on spot...
Those 600s are a beast of a machine. Tho can be troublesome at times. If you have a city who chip seals a lot.. those curtains won't last long. They works best on smooth concrete or asphalt.. they have to keep a good seal
I run a 600, for 5 yrs now. That guy needs to go slower, raise the curtain and open the damper he would have gotten all those leaves the first pass and not had to back up.
@@joeyv9886 Its not a Damper. Its Called the Leaf Bleeder. Its the Lever inside the Cab and it opens up a Flap on the left side of the Head. By Opening the Leaf Bleeder it Cuts the amount of Air being pushed through the Head and increases the Vacuum.
It’s a door to let the air out of the blower tube. Allowing greater suction power for light debris. It is located on the left side of the hopper out of camera view.
YEA, STICKS DO SUCK BUT NOT MORE THAN A DRIVER THAT DOES NOT KNOW WHAT HE IS DOING , IF THAT TYMCO NOT EQUIPPED WITH CAMERAS , YOU CAN STILL MANAGE TO SEE PART OF THE HEAD FOR ANY BUILD UP USING YOUR MIRROR, SHOULD'VE BEEN DONE IN ONE PASS....
He cranked up the back motor on leaves, which means hes a moron.Clogs up the intake hose, tank & his screens are probably mud.Tymco screens are a problematic anyway to clean.I always used Pam cookingv spray above the screens when other drivers stole my WD40 cans.I preferred Elgins better. This guy is like other idiots I've worked with who back up a Tymco with the skid down.Too bad operators like that never run over themselves,They are too busy hitting other vehicles or screwing up the one they are assigned.
spunbearing65 mine gets jammed with leaves like that. I've just started doing parking lots about two weeks ago. Any suggestions why it does that? I keep my screen clean. I wash it out every day. It feels like it's not getting any suction. thanks
@Andeyesextfe Garciarrfs Many things can cause loss of suction. My guess in this video is the screens were plugged with leaves. At about 3:54 in the video the rear engine was shut off, the fan quit sucking and may have aloud most of the leaves that had been sucked against the screen to fall. I carry a shovel with me, and in leaf season I will shut down the rear engine or just raise the hopper breaking the suction. Open the side door and hit the screens with the shovel cleaning them enough to continue sweeping, I probably do this three or more times per load. then when I dump and get water I spray the screens.
