Personally I feel the S13 missile/cross-car before that was slightly better considering he used the entire course, but I guess skipping and jumping the kerb on the last corner before the main straight may have killed it :P Regardless, not a bad run :)

That whole respect/humble thing they put on in their society is just skin deep. It's just an act, a fake face you put on because that's what the societal norm is over there. But I found it just results in people being more two-faced than actually being respectful, ironically and counter-productively enough. People might seem more "rude" in other parts of the world but I prefer people being straightforward and honest, even if it's not always positive, rather than being fake/lied to by a fake smile and bullshit like that as if that's "respecting" me. When I know I'm being lied to, I don't feel respected at all. In fact I view honesty as respect, but that's just me.

That's the exact car I got (and still have) as my first car, so I got a massive laugh out of it when I saw it attempting to drift, that's fucking awesome that it can even sort of drift.

I think with some more power it could have been a legit competitor. I think the judges want a wide line, lots of smoke a maad angle. With completely draging back tires you get smoke and angle just needs more power to pull through.

I see them pretty often in Australia, imported of course. Back in like '99 Toyota Australia had the option of selling the JZX100 or the Avalon here... somehow the Avalon won.
