Peak streetlight right here. Heard this once 15 years ago and have been chasing it since. Sadly, I am here to say that I've never caught them preforming it live again... Back then, November 12, 2007, somewhere in the between was about to release. After a show including the aforementioned, Tom came out for the encore saying they were about to play a new song and joked cynically that he figured the crowd had already pirated the song anyway. We laughed because he wasn't wrong, and then proceeded to rage; singing along (to the unreleased song) as we always do. The album dropped the following day at which point I picked up my reserved copy, popped the CD into my car's disc changer, and I am sure you can fill in the rest. I'd argue that Somewhere in the Between was/is one of their absolute best albums. ANYWAY, now that I have digressed, point /keasbey/ counterpoint live is something truly, truly special.
