Streets of Rage 3 [USA] (Sega Genesis) - (Longplay - Axel Stone | Hard | Good Ending Path) 

I think there was a cheat code used or something. All the enemies patiently waited their turns to attack. When I play they come at you from the front and back while attacking together not wait for you to cream their buddies to a pulp. Almost unbelievable gameplay and on a supposed hard setting also 😒

I remember playing streets of rage 1, 2, and 3 bro I beat 1 and 2 but for some reason I could never beat 3 but I did get close tho 😭😂

It's pretty easy to me, I just learned where certain enemies would appear and their moveset.

And Motohiro Kawashima. He composed more street of rage 2 and 3 soundtracks than Yuzo.

The 90s ruled. I was born in 89 so I really only vividly remember them from around 1994-onwards, but what a decade!!! Awesome music, great movies, the neighborhood was safe for us to traverse entirely on our own, etc... That was definitely the best decade I've ever had.

@Jeremy Jones Yes, unfortunately the North American and European versions of Streets of Rage 3 prevents players from advancing beyond Round 5 if the game is played on the Easy difficulty setting. Also, Streets of Rage 3 has 4 different endings: 1.) Easy Mode Ending: Complete Round 5 while playing on easy difficulty setting in the North American or European versions of Streets of Rage 3. At the end, the fake Mr. X robot is defeated, but the Chief of Police is still missing and Axel Stone is still framed. Mr. X himself is still out there and can still be stopped by trying harder (in other words, playing on normal or hard difficulty setting). 2.) City Hall Ending: Play on normal or hard difficulty setting, reach to the Chief of Police after the gas kills him. In his dying breath, the Chief will tell you to get to City Hall. From there, you'll play a completely different last level and have to fight Shiva as the final boss in Round 7 (The City Hall). At the end, Although Mr. X's attempt at injecting crime through means of the police has been thwarted, it is only temporary. Mr. X is still out there, still planning to take over the world. 3.) Bad Ending: Play on normal or hard difficulty setting, save the Chief of Police before the gas kills him and destroy the final robot ("Robot Y") after the 3 minute timer on the screen runs out in Round 7 (The Robot Facility). At the end, Mr. X has been defeated, but you were unable to stop his bombs before they blew up. The city is now destroyed, and large amounts of time and effort will be required to rebuild it. 4.) Best and True Ending: Play on normal or hard difficulty setting, save the Chief of Police before the gas kills him and destroy the final robot ("Robot Y") before the 3 minute timer on the screen runs out in Round 7 (The Robot Facility). At the end, Mr. X is finally defeated and the bombs have been disarmed. The credits play and the heroes can be seen looking out into the sunset, reflecting on their perilous journey. That whole sequence was insane!

When you get 40,000 points on a single life, you gain a star which upgrades your blitz attack (the attack you can perform while running). You can get up to three, at which point you're basically a god lol Also if you die, you lose one star. It's nearly impossible to play this version of the game without dying though.

(Each 40,000 points will get you a star for a better special, without dying.) Second: If you got the three stars, press and hold the desired direction button and press the "Attack" button to perform Axel's Special Move.

I think its safe to say that SOR2 leaves a better first impression, especially if you’re playing SOR3’s western release.

+XXNOOBSLAYERXX When the room starts to fill with toxic gas, you have to make it to the Chief before his health runs out. So that means, he will die, if you fail to save the Chief.

Countless runs were ruined while making a No Damage run Longplay. About the Star System in Streets of Rage 3: If you get so far or get 40,000 points without dying, your player will get a star under their name (a max of up to 3 stars). This star represents a new kind of special, or an updated special that your fighter can perform while having that star. For example, if you get a star while playing as Axel, he’ll be able to do a more powerful “Bare Knuckle” (it was called the “Ground Upper” in Streets of Rage 2) attack, and if you get more stars, he is able to do a more different and powerful kind of attack. NOTE: You have to get 120,000 points without dying to get three stars to acquire the best special move. (Each 40,000 points will get you a star for a better special, without dying.)

SOR is far better than Final Fight. SOR series has way more moves than Final Fight does.

Nope not even close. They butchered it on SNES.

It's difficult to explain but you have to utilize your defensive special (pressing A while standing still) when they come directly towards you with a kick, as well as finding opportunities to land quick combos on them when they land close enough to you. After trial and error, you'll start to get used to their patterns and be able to follow their movements, and then come in for the kill. Also, doing the offensive specials are really useful in place of regular combos. Blaze's offensive is my favorite whereas Axel's defensive is my favorite.

@Cakegolem Yes, that is correct. At the title screen, hold Up and B, then press Start. A kangaroo named "Roo" (known as "Victy" in Bare Knuckle III) will be available at the character select screen. Or the other way is to don't kill Roo just beat up and kill the clown and if you die and use all your lives you can pick Roo when you continue he good too!

Blue meter at the top middle of screen charges up over time, when full, allows you to use an A button special without losing health.

@Torey White Yes, the rumors are true. 😊👍🏻 Shiva reappears in Streets of Rage 4 as the Stage 6 boss. While initially presumed still part of the Syndicate, after his defeat he reveals that he has started a new life teaching people martial arts from his new dojo. He encourages the heroes to pursue Mr. Y and Ms. Y, ending their discussion on good terms and thus finally ending their rivalry. His bio states that many of his new students has left his dojo to join the Syndicate, and even suggests that "reports of animal cruelty at Y's secret labs" now drive him to directly oppose his former organization.
