Yeah, I have the same thought about stage 12 from the moment when I have found route for whole stage. And worst part that I messed up both section that you mentioned :P Got a bit nervous in the end of the run ngl "...what many of us thought was possible" - including myself btw 😅

I am just happy that you liked the run that much, it's always great to know that your work and efforts is appreciated. It feels really good ngl ☺ And yeah, new blitz just can't fit my playstyle at all, so I am only glad not to use it. Howerer I am glad that you have noticed moveset difference, because, it can sounds kinda obvious but getting that time with vanilla moveset is not the same as getting this time with most popular moveset that include alt blitz. It's a way tougher.

Спасибо большое за комплименты. Особенно приятно такое слышать из уст одного из лучших Блейз мейнов в мире. Кто как не ты способен оценить ран не только с точки зрения исполнения, но и используемых при этом идей. Прозвучит конечно немного пафосно, но в тему мне кажется - "Это своего рода искусство сделать что-то сложное и заставить это выглядеть просто". И только немногие поймут истинную природу этой искусства (кто попробует провернуть такое же на практике лул, ну и те кто просто шарят) -ну и как сильно местами я заролял RNG, хотя справедливости ради, хорошего рана без нормального общего RNG просто не бывает, поэтому мы это зачеркнем- . Ну ладно, пора уже завязывать с пафосом и просто еще раз поблагодарить за GG. Я, конечно, уважаю мнение этого "одного человека", но по правде говоря никого я уничтожать не собирался, я же не уничтожитель228 в конце концов. Я просто кнопочки понажимать пришел и головоломки порешать, а остальное...ну...оно как-то само собой выходит я хз 😅🤷‍♂Тем более я не непобедимый, твой ран на изи лучшее тому подтверждение 👆 Поэтому несмотря на то что время действительно сильное, я буду ждать когда ты заберешь ВР обратно. Thank you so much, your words mean a lot to me. Maybe even more than you think. I am glad that there is players/viewers as you, who appreciate whole runs itself (like you said, including setups/combos/technique and their complexity) more than final result. In other words I'll rather have more stylish but slower run, than faster but sloppy or spammy. That's why I can't call myself a true speedrunner you know? I am just love the activity itself. It's not as strict and punishing as scoreruns and it allows you to use your creativity even more so it was a pleasure to find out fresh strats and optimize existing (especially considering it was on mania+). So I want to thank you for the confidence in me and I think you are right - I could do even better. But I don't care much about losing WR and I am not going to reclaim it asap. Although I think about returning to speedruns again but the WR won't be the goal for me. It has never been in the first place. The style and knowledge is always in priority. But if I'll be able reclaim it in the process it would be nice ngl :P And about weapon uses. You know, once I caught myself on the same thought, but like, since it's my own idea I thought that I can exaggerate, you know? So I am actually glad and honoured that someone else noticed it too. @@moonlightfox930 10/10 for the style. Boss fights are a joy to watch. First time I see a speedrun not taking Nora to the left wall. Clear thinking and creativity along the run makes it beautiful to watch. I came on to realize that Blaze is really special among the cast and it takes a true master to bring out the beautiful run of her. I’ll be lurking for the next run :)

I never played SoR4, I just watch videos, so I don't know a lot, but I saw a video of some guys playing in some kind of portal thing where they went to these stages that are not part of the story mode and they had all this fun stuff put in there like The Commissioner fighting by their side and after they cleared every area they got to choose what kind of power up they would get. I don't fully understand your idea, can you explain it more? As far as I understood it, we have constand number of points that will be given to player if he perform full combo on particular enemy. Let's say for 1 galsia it's 50, for Y. Signal is 100, for Donovan is 75 and so on, right? But for example, why for full combo on galsias we get twice more points as for girls while as you mentioned latter is much harder? Or it's just refer to count of enemies? Like, 15 galsias would give you 2x points then 4 girls. And another question - what do you mean by doing full combo on enemy? My guess it's a combo from first hit untill enemy is dead or stand up.

@@moonlightfox930 sorry i should have clarified! i think each stage is technically divided into several combos, that you can link together for a full combo if you can kill all the enemies in that section without getting hit. so, for stage 12, technically first it's the galsia wave, then the "girl fight" up until candy, then the bridge with golds + sparrows, etc., etc., etc. AFAIK, every enemy is just worth however many hp they have. if galsia has 100 hp, he's worth 100 points. so, for example, if you finish the combos on the galsia wave on stage 12, you got 11964 points. you dropped the combo in the girl fight before getting to candy, but even so, the 2 saphyrs, 2 garnets, and 3 caramels only netted you 6857 points. this to me is not proportionate because it's way harder to kill 2 saphyrs, 2 garnets and 3 caramels without getting hit than it is however many galsias. the annoyingness of an enemy isn't factored in at all in the point tally. after watching all these runs, i straight up think that players should be given ALL points up until the combo is broken. this would decrease reset urge, IMHO. second, i would award extra point value based on the difficulty of these enemies. say a caramel has 300 hp, just to make math easy. each jonathan has 100 hp. you get the same points for killing 3 caramels as 9 jonathans, even though the caramels are way tougher, in part because they have so much more rng. assuming the same numbers, just as an example, a caramel should net you something like 3000 points (2700 bonus points for being unfair af in addition to her 300 hp), when a jonathan maybe like 200 (because he's just original galsia with more hp), because of her bs armor on get up, bs pile driver with no prompt, bs no way to engage if she decides she wants to charge you and she's backing away to get the proper distance to start, etc., etc.

The idea about "enemy annoyance factor" I liked the most. Never heard it before. One way to realize it is in addition to numerical value of HP of enemy to give each of them multiplier based on their "elitness". For example, for Galsia it will be 1, for G.Signal - 4, for Z - 8, for Kooboo - 15 etc. And yeah, I like this changes and I think scoreruns would be more interesting and (maybe it's even more important) less frustrating. It don't ruin the balance, because to get all possible scores on stage you basically still need to FC it. I would like all these changes to be included in v08, but you are most likely right, and we don't see any of this unfortunantely.
