omg the remastered music is fucking incredible. They didnt completely remake it but gave it a nice long bath, a haircut and put it in a designer suit. They handled it very delicately, paying respect to the original while finessing it with minor but effective touches. Very impressive.
+shatteredmemories99 Taking the time to listen to all of it, and you're exactly right. Each song was made with a lot of attention to the original version of each song, making sure to keep what made each song so amazing, while improving on every song on its own as well. Amazing work!
It's PC. It's right there in the title. Yes, it's pretty much all the games in one. 12 playable characters (6 of them and a lot of variations unlockable), lots of other unlockable goodies, graphics redrawn and improved in many cases like this particular elevator scene having better animated backgrounds. Official download site is toast due to copyright, but the game is still easily found. Latest version is v5.1, so look for that.
I'm sure he seemed tougher on the original streets of rage. I remember my bro and my sis and I all having more trouble on level 2 than on all the other levels simply because of that scary claw guy.
attention moders! ..........this game would have been just a tad better if they had an enemy that would run away not to return once you beat up two or more of his "friends" in front of him. Would be some fantastic comic relief...maybe throw in a "forget this" or something of the like.
