This is so entertaining you could almost entertain a family, so it would then be family entertainment. Roger Chapman was not only the best live vocalist I ever saw, and I saw him 4 times (3 x Mothers, 1 x Leas Cliff Hall), but he must also be the best tambourine player of all time. And Family Entertainment is in my top 10 of all time.
Back in 1975 i saw Street walkers in Copenhagen they were playing as a warm up for Black Sabbath, loudest thing i have ever heard, i was only 15 then 😁
this freaking rocks! chappo is exquisite as is Whitney. Tench is the perfect backing vocal to chapman and a fantastic guitarist dueling with the oh so tasty Whitney... loved this lp and what a brilliant performance...
This may be the coolest thing I've ever discovered on youtube. Bob Tench and Roger Chapman are two of my all time favorites - throw in a little Nico and Charlie....awesome stuff...
I did collect these of this great band: *Streetwalkers & Offshoots Chapman/Whitney Streetwalkers 1974 Streetwalkers Streetwalkers 1975 Red Card (red vinyl) No 08889 1976 Vicious But Fair 1977 Live (double LP) (P-ERF 20/2/2000) 1977 Streetwalkers are Roger Chapman, Charlie Whitney, Bob Tench, Nicko, Jon Plotel.
So much about j.page and his6&12guitars;then listening to the streetwalkers version, they played with morezest and control than pages losing it and making more noise . Than music needs to be played withentertainment in mindall the bozos smashing of guitars, what was it suppose to mean?Let me urge you to take a few minutes to capture, favorite family and there afterThe Streetwalkers.there is a bandthat came acrossquite evidentwhith clarity.they are proffessionals!
Rubbish performance.... Not a patch on a performance by Family I saw in 1972... The sound on this doesn't help but it just seems haphazard and amateurish...
I don’t think so at all, there’s some intricate stuff going on and there’s more energy than I’d exude in a week. The drums and bass are very low which doesn’t quite do it justice, I’d concur.
