Until recently, the Nansama dispensary in the Mbozi district faced significant challenges due to inadequate water and hygiene services. The absence of clean water, proper toilets, and handwashing facilities posed a persistent risk of disease infection among patients, staff, and their families.
Amidst these challenges, UNICEF, with generous support by the Republic of Korea, improved WASH services in 10 healthcare facilities across Mbeya and Songwe regions.
