Hello. The burnt hair smell is the worse. Are you using a heat tool to do the curls? A heat protectant? Make sure there is no residual water or excess moisture in the hair before you use your heat tool. Have you tried any overnight heatless curling methods yet?

No not yet so I usaly put heat protection in my hair over night then put more in in the morning then curl my hair

What method do u suggest I try and if your hair smells burnt is that a sign of hair damage? Sorry if I am asking lots a questions
