Jay on a mission to make us hate ES6 when it comes out because it wont have his mods. Also my character likes sweetroll I feel like it should reduce the stress when he eats one
If the Nine Divines allow it and there are modding tools for it, I hope to continue modding ES6 whenever it comes out! And sweetrolls do indeed reduce stress by a small amount, I wouldn't have it any other way! 😋
@@JaySerpa I apologise for asking something unrelated to the mod, but do you have any plans to ever make mods for Starfield once the Creation Kit releases and we get an MCM and other tools? I feel like Starfield would benefit greatly from your style of mods.
Hello brothers, i have traveled through time and i can tell you ES6 is very disappointing. It released buggy, unoptimized and full of social engineering even though they tried to further simplify all the roleplay elements.
This is awesome, imagine being scared of dragons initially and then after defeating enough of them you eventually would have conquered your fears. I love this premise, you always come up with mods that further expand on skyrims replayability. Thanks so much!
Or how to transform your Dragonborn into the perfect mashup of a Netflix character and a 80's US series character : stress, fear and alcoholism. Downloaded.
Gods help us, how can you be so good with this?! xD Sooo many things I and so many others were waiting to get for ages, oftentimes without even knowing that we needed it (and I'm generally fine with 'just imagine this and that'). With your mods our characters get extra levels of independence. Thank you!
Jay!!! I’ve been following your work forever, and stumbled across your channel here by accident. I almost broke my finger hitting that subscribe button 😂 I couldn’t hit it fast enough!👍🏾 keep up the magnificent work you’re doing modding this game.
That's actually would be a great idea for npc to hafve similar system too. So that some enemy mages could cast fear on player increasing their stress, or an ally could cast courage on the player to reduce stress and fear temporarily.
That looks like a very interesting mod, I'll have to test it out. I won't use it if I play the Rigmor series, though. That mod series would fill my characters phobias in 2 combat encounters.
I am a bit skeptical about the fear mechanic, but stress is cool, and I see it as a sort of streamlined and simpified alternative to needs mods like eating and drinking. Overall, nicely done 👍
The phobia system, reminds me something of how in Daggerfall you could have your character be afraid of certain creatures. I would Love to see an implementation like that. Imagine having a thief that's afraid of guards, or a warrior that's afraid of undead. Just a suggestion, my imagination runs a little wild, but Great Mod!
OK I was starting to have some doubts until I realize that the fears are not hard to conquer! And it actually would make sense as a fledgling Dragonborn you wouldn’t have encountered anything stressful in your life until now.
Personally, I'd prefer to deal with stress and fear via out of game RP, but this is still pretty cool. I don't think I'd use it for most characters, though. Fear/stress would have to be a vital component of their character for me to want to use a mod like this. I do hope you can also pet cats to lower stress/fear (although I guess that would be handled via integration with other mods, lol 😅).
Interesting mod! And also interesting, will be our NPC like Lydia, Inigo, Yordis and etc scared for something things? Example khajit companion have allergies from alcohol or fell very stressful around many people 🧐
I was just thinking about this the other day - dreams do come true I guess! Just a quick question: what mod allows for your stamina being capped like that?
Perhaps instead of a prompt that the player has to click on to remove from their screen, the mod could announce the new phobia with a notification? Like when you contract a disease.
Reminds me of fear and hunger. Watch Next Jayserpa will make an injury system where it'll be feasible to chop an arm off. Or add an anal bleed status effect..... Alright maybe not that last one. Would be sick to become a retired armless merchant getting by by hiring mercs until you can grow a limb or use dwemer tech in some way.
At 2:24, what mod adds icons to the entries in the active magic effects menu? I assume it's some I4 addon or Aura's Inventory Tweaks - I tried AIT once but didn't really like it messing with the SkyUI item info columns by default.
