My mother used to cut my hair when I was little and it was one of the only times she paid direct attention to me in a way that was quiet and caring. I remember the sound of the comb in my hair, the scissor, and being very close to her. It remained a special memory for me so hair asmr videos bring me absolute peace. Thanks for being you, Fern!

A couple of years ago i found myself out of the blue in the middle of a quite horrendous personal situation regarding my long term partner & a third party from the past....the whole normality of my life was threatened & this went on for nearly 4 months... The feelings of anxiety were horrendous, i could hardly hold a conversation with anyone with dissolving into tears & as I'm writing this i can still feel that anxiety.... One thing I've learnt from that experience is if you're ever in a position whereby someone you know is in an externally vulnerable position emotionally as i was do not under any circumstances dismiss how they feel, i heard a lot of these suggestions.. 'Move on', 'pull yourself together' etc etc.... Under extreme stress a persons ability to make any decision is sometimes impossible & suggestions like these are of no help.... Simply listen to the person even if they have told you the same story ten times
I am convinced that the best medicine to cure stress must be to be able to play with such wonderful silky soft hair. There is nothing in this world that can make everything around you disappear when you can truly enjoy playing with beautiful silky soft hair with your sensitive hands. What you show in this video is absolutely wonderful perfect silky soft hair - which must be a dream to play with. With this video, you can give the perfect recipe for stress - but unfortunately this medicine cannot be bought over the counter.
Yes I've been really doing much better this year with stress! Ive implemented better nutrition, lifting weights weekly 3x, walking more and getting outside! I get monthly IV vitamins and injections, and use a red light sauna for muscles inflammation and helps my stress! I do baths with epsom salts and I've been reading more. 47lbs down in 6 months has helped my stress tremendously. I definitely want to incorporate massage next! ❤

Nice video. I am having a hard time to eliviate my stress. I am taking a massage therapy class that is finishing in july, I enjoy doing that. Although with the high cost of everything I am trying to decide if I should find a full time job with benefits or if I should follow my plan to open a massage office. It's scary to start a business, I had one for 7 years in the past. The high cost of renting an office also worries me.
Maybe a solution is to not go full on or rent a public space. You could look into doing home massage visits. Offering your services to placed like aged care facilities. You can also look into starting by working for someone who already has an established massage business and start your own when you feel able to. You could work part time in another job and do your massage only a few days a week.

I so needed this today. I have done stress management in the past and know a fair bit about it but it is so easy to slip backwards. This was a healthy reminder and refresher for me. (As I sit here with back pain!). May I suggest regular segments/refreshers on stress management. I certainly benefited today. And I also enjoyed the way you delivered this video. Your voice is very gentle and calming and the hair brushing and in particular the plaiting was mesmerising. Your daughter's hair is stunning! Thanks very much xx
