I love salves as they’re a bit more wearable than oils! I looove me some wearables. I’m actually allergic to beeswax! So for those who are curious of some safe substitutes, you can use olive wax (kinda hard to find but I like it for my skin) or Soy Wax Candelilla Wax ❤️❤️ well wishes to you all in hopes that we can all feel a little stress relief!
I actually added some camellia flowers since to me I have a strong connection with them. They grow in my garden and have been there ever since I remember. They also carry decision making properties which really help since I have trouble with that! Something great for people having the same problems
I grew up in Massachusetts and as a kid we never had air conditioning and many of our summers we would have a heat with 100 percent humidity here is what we did : in the am take your top sheet fold it neatly and put it in a zip lock bag and put in the freezer for the day . AT night take it out and sleep under it ... a little uncomfortable for a few minutes but eventually it is the perfect temp to fall asleep . All I needed was to fall asleep once asleep the heat did not bother me , Drinking cold lemonade also cools down the body . A quick dip in teh ocean helps cool you down as well . I also like to rinse off with cold shower just before bed. ALso a bowl of ice in front of fan . For pets I had a dog in in Lynn MA that when it got really hot we would give him a bag of ice and he sleep on it . Basements are the best though in a heat wave .I have one now but it a dirt floor and I rarely go down there
I've never learned that much about witchcraft as my father is a pastor and I've grown up in the Bible belt but her knowledge is so beautiful, I crave to one day be able to go on my own journey when I am old enough to be out of the house but right now her knowledge is inspiration
I love your salves and will definitely be giving this one a go. I believe in the power of intent and prayer and think it can go a long way. May I add too that if you are dealing with serious stress and anxieties (🙋♀️) please reach out to your doctor and/or a therapist. This salve could help you make that first step if reaching out makes you nervous. Taking care of you and getting help doesn't make you any less magical. 💖
I love all of your salve recipes! I agree with the others below that just watching you create your salves brings its own peace to my day. My spirit honors your spirit. Thank you for sharing your gifts with all of us! Many blessings
Thank you so much for making this! For those of you that can't find beeswax or find it too expensive, a replacement I've used in salves is plain lipbalm- the kind that you can relatively cheaply that has simple ingredients. You can use the ones that come in stick form if you're adding a substantial amount of oils or if you're only adding a little you can get the ones that come in little pots. Also makes it easier for those in the broom closet since it simply passes as a DIY lipbalm :)
Thank you for your teachings. I am new to the awakening of my craft. I had always kind of known I was “different “ and I guess I’m more of a kitchen witch. But I feel like I’ve done this before many times. Just don’t remember all. I feel like I am having to learn all over again kind of like a bumped my head and had amnesia and just now starting to slowly remember things.. and when I watch you make your salves it’s like something goes oh yeah and oh this would work in that kind of feeling. I don’t know but I hope I’m not sounding crazy…
I was planning on making lavender water with lavender from my garden, I think I'll make some salve too. Thank you for the recipe. I do have a tip I learned from Danu's Garden put your jars in warm water in your crockpot, turn it to low or keep warm. No hot stove or inconsistent temperature, just warming water bath. She used it while making shampoo. May you have calm and peace🕊️
I like the crockpot method - I put oil and herbs in a pint jar, put a lid on loosely, and put the jar in the crock pot. I add water to about the level of the oil in the jar and turn it on warm. I leave it for 24 hours, strain it, measure it, warm it in a double boiler with beeswax, etc. I have a small crockpot that has a "warm" setting as well as a low - low is hotter than I like.
I am working on converting some of these into lip balms that can be gifted and are travel friendly. I have one started that I am excited to try this weekend. I made another of your salves and gave it to my daughters who all deal with anxiety and panic attacks. They loved it.
I'm late but for anyone wondering if you can make salves without beeswax: Use cocoa butter instead and add less of the liquid oil. Cocoa butter is quite hard at room temperature. Just keep the salve in a cool place, because the coconut oil will melt and seperate from the cocoa butter if it gets too warm.
I love this recipe so much. I made mine on a new moon because I watched your videos about that and it was the best stress relief I've had! Thank you so much!
Sea shelks, and egg shells and rock chips on top of rich soil helps plabd live longer and shadeibg soil from the sun, and providing nutrients to your plants
Hi, i just wanted to thank you for your content. I found your channel today and I looooove the aesthetic of your videos, the visual composition and the music, just everything together. Thank you so much, watching your videos is giving me peace. 💚 I am an absolute beginner to the topic, but you inspired me to start my first bos and also I feel more safe exploring all kinds of witchy practices because of your words in the beginner tips video. Greetings from Germany 🤗
Thank you so much ! This was perfect timing ! You can't imagine how much i need this right now ! I love your salve recipes 💗🖤🤎💜💙💚💛🧡💘🙏 Blessings Annie 🙏
Thank you for reccomwnding beeswax! Soy wax is horrible for the body and the other substitutes do not work as well or are also dangerous. I understand some people have moral qualms with beeswax but as long as the bee farmer did a good job then its actually great for saving the bees. And if there are allergies then yes, find an alternative, but i do feel sorry for those with allergies to it 🥺
Wow I did not imagine people have moral qualms with... beeswax. I will use this spell with no doubts because I consider bees my allies. Fair exchange of energy. I have a garden and grow flowers. They enjoy flowers so much. Instead of people getting moral qualms they could plant some flowers... it is an idea! no qualms when it is a fair exchange ❤🐝
@@anarcougly agreed! Some people are weird because they believe it is hurting the bees. I am with you... using beeswax seems more natural and right. Like it makes a connection with the bees. I also grow them many flowers and make them houses, so I'm all about equal exchange... but even just purchasing from a good bee farmer is great, they take care of them and make sure they are healthy and happy.
Just watching your video brought me peace. I will try to make an anti anxiety salve. I make pain relief salves, going to work on intention. Thank you❣️
Thanks for the recipe. I need this in my life right now. You make beautiful videos. So calming and relaxing to watch. I’d love to see more of your home, it looks amazing
Babassu oil makes a good substitute for coconut oil - solid at room temp, melts at 76. It does take a minute or two before it really sinks in if you use too much.
Hello :) In some of your older videos you offer to write spells for people. I'm a frequent migraine sufferer and I've looked online for spells to help relieve and/or prevent them but I haven't found very much. I'm attempting to write my own based on some of the ones I have found but I wonder if this is something you might already have? Thank you so much for running your channel! It is so inspiring and relaxing to watch!
this is such a great idea *.* I will have to do it soon. also consider maybe a pinch of butters: shea, mango, etc. instead of beeswax. may have to do more research.
Thank you for another salve recipe. it is always good to see you work on and with them. (I added some lemon peel to your recipe for the joy the scent gives.) x
Heated boulders can crack under high temperature utilizing logs already falken, or shipping wood. The rock chips help with plant trees grow that shade the roots from heat from the sun, even your garden herbs, egg yoke paibted on a tree bark and roots help moss grown to create an eco system
A bald pkant with a few peeking keaves can bring lyfe by gently removing from old pot, and renovibg carefully loose dirt and replaceing it with molsh/dirt/poo (chicken)
I can't wait to do this! I'm admitted to the hospital.... can you suggest anything I can do in thr hospital that will help me heal and help keep my mind and soul right while I'm here ? Amy suggestions would be incredibly helpful.
I truely love your videos! Just watching you doin all this beautiful work is incredibly relaxing! What I would like to ask... Is there a good alternative to passion flower?
I hear you recently moved to the city, and idk about where you are but lavender, honeysuckle, and Rosemary tend to be really prevalent in landscaping and gardens for the aesthetic
