THE ABSOLUTE WORST PROCEDURE FOR GERD. I HAD IT DONE 11 MONTHS AGO AND IT HAS DESTROYED MY LIFE! My throat has developed all these issues from unbearable pain, burning, to not being able to speak without pain. This procedure should be banned!

Sorry to know. Who was your doctor and what were your symptoms?

@@KM-vc7iy I don't want to put the doctors name out there but the symptoms for the last year have been unbearable throat pain, pain when speaking, globus feeling in throat which has driven me crazy, bubble sensation and urge to reflux upon sipping any liquid. The paid I have experienced with my throat the past 12 months has been nothing short of debilitating. The past 3-4 weeks it seems to finally beginning to subside. Was the benefits of the Stretta work the hell I have been through the past year? Absolutely not. I am not saying the procedure can't help others, but for me it was the worst decision of my life.

@@salmilanese2185 I HAD the TIF. I am about 4 months in & I WISH I DID HAVE THIS SURGERY. I STILL have constant burning in my throat & NOW I cant eat normally. I will sometimes throw up...

@@isellorganic I am so sorry to hear that. It might take a long time for your body to adapt to the TIF. Hang in there. My throat pain has finally subsided after 17 months but things are different with swallowing. I am slowly started to adapt to my new “normal”. Anytime anything is done inside your body you’re never the same. 4 months is still not a long time so just hang in there. I know how difficult it must be.
