I watched this in middle school and it’s one of the reasons I’m a film major in college now

Amazing how many people don't grasp the concept of parody. That was a fun little short film. You could have gone for a more serious tone had you wanted to, I think, but what you did worked for what you were going for. Amusing for a parody film with a minimal budget (assuming you had a budget at all).

This was classic! Camera work was excellent for an amateur film. Loved Steve Stevenson, genius name, nice homage to Stan Lee. You had the perfect formula running and set up for the sequel. Minimalist costuming was a nice touch. Kudos guys.

I hope the Black guy went on to star in movies. He was the only thing in this short.

What would be really cool was if at the end when he opened his eyes there was like electricity zooming through his eyes.

Lol the acting and VFX is sooo bad but the idea is still interesting, that's why i kept watching haha. I like seeing amateurs at work, it really is a good way to think of ways on how I (amateur vfx artist and film maker) could have improved that shot/vfx. But i must say, the final fight scene with the electric arrow to the face was pretty impressive and creative. The ending was also pretty great too, definitely finished it perfectly.

Y’all this film is purposely trying to cram in as many campy stereotypical superhero movie tropes as possible it is very obviously a parody and it’s pretty good and funny when taken at that value.

I use Cubase to write my music in, but the sounds you hear come from programs called "Symphonic Orchestra" and "Hollywood Brass" by EastWest. It's pretty amazing how great they can sound if programmed right! :)

so storywise one can debate the quality, but honestly considering the budget they probably didnt have, I think this is awesome. The sound is on spot, the lighting is really good, the acting is not too bad , they had a good cutter and I would say they did a great job in post production. All Thumbs up

im stillSHOCKED that when he seen the other guy speed past his punch he didnt say "Holy shit he got powers?!! i know its not that serious, I know its not that serious but up to this point he was only fighting low level bullies. still great short film

John Eckert? The power to control electricity? John Egbert, the power to control wind? Interesting. Also, "daredevil white people" made me laugh so hard

i do have one quick criticism (criticism/opinions are what makes everyone better at what they do) about "Animal" at 17:56, when he lifts his mask, you could have add an effect with his eye. SUGGESTIONS - either Red or Blue, craggly and wrinkly looking (like Odin father of Thor and Loki). hope my opinion will shed some light on what a viewer would like to see in the next movie... "hint" "hint" "wink" "wink" but other than that good movie. P.S. watching as i typed this, more to come ;)

Good work, I like it. Good exploration of the idea of super powers spontaneously cropping up in people. Good exploration of one man's struggle to become what the girl always knew he could be. He comes alive when he finds that which he really loves.

He said the mask is a symbol of hope but I think the bolt should be the symbol. Other than that it's amazing
