This is considered Season 3 in the states as the original Strike Back series 1 is marketed as a prequel Strike Back: Origins. I wish they could do a mini-series with Richard Armitage and Sullivan Stapleton that follows the events from Strike Back Origins to show how John Porter and Damien Scott first met.
as much as it's a trope, it's also human nature. low skill, low motivation troops put in a shit job all tend to perform the same way. Try walking the same 50m stretch of land back and forth for 4 hours, in the cold, with shit rations and shit pay, and nothing happening day after day. You get bored, undisciplined, and sloppy very quickly. You never actually think something bad's going to happen, you're just filling a hole. or maybe you figure you got the job as shit work b/c your boss has it out for you. however you rationalize it you're going to find little ways to make yourself more comfortable and the job easier. like bunching up with a buddy and putting a soccer game on the radio next to the small fire you got going to pass the time and keep warm. people are gonna be people 100% of the time :)
+Medeiros in Poland you can have anything semi automatic up to 12mm caliber. With all that crap they have on the guns here it's quite front heavy. But I love it anyway.
Drzewacz888 Here in Brazil the most you can have is a 380 pistol or 38 revolver, or a 12 gauge shotgun with a barrel 24" or bigger. But having one legally is very difficult.. Lots of tests and stuff.. And you can't even take it out of your home to practice, ever. Also there is a 50 round limit that you can buy per year.
I've got one two, with a silencer, I've got to say the it make MUCH more noise in real life. NO WAY everyone in the compound wouldn't have heard the first shots.
