The best part of the Starships at War series is when _Argent's_ chief engineer has to essentially reinvent modern technology in order to rescue her downed corvette. That concept was the foundation for book two in the series, and it was among the most fun stories to write, because here we get to play with all the advanced technologies that got humans from Earth to the stars, including a four-story-tall fusion power plant.
Is this the entire book? I just started listening to these books. I started with Argent, then accidentally skipped to the Starship expeditionary series. I finished that series realizing i missed the rest of starships at war series. however this video seems remarkably short and does not cover the entire description provided.
Hey PB12Bravo! This is just an excerpt from Strike Battleship Engineers, not the whole book. We're only a short ways into Starships at War at this point. Glad to have you aboard!
