Welcome back! Here is an update on the mustang in the "Striker Kicker" video we posted last month. This is about 3-4wks after the first video. We will post an update about every month on the progress of this 11yo freshly gathered, freshly gelded mustang we have in for training. We hope these videos will help inspire and guide you if you have a difficult mustang you are trying to train.

This vid is so interesting and informative!! No way would I be brave enough to do this but little by little that beautiful boy will calm down !!! Thank you so much for showing us your progress !!! ❤️🐴❤️

Wow check out the zebra striping on his legs, dorsal stripe down his back and the low set of his tail. You get to work with these very unique horses. These videos are priceless tools you are sharing your knowledge so that others learn the right way to work with these wild caught horses. The training they are receiving gives them a good experience with people. They are not damaged by cruel and hurtful ignorant methods.

I sat on my mustang for the 1st time today I have had her 7months and done everything I did her 1st touch ever I decided not to flex or move her off as shes one that if you do the same thing every day for a few days then move on she learns and reacts better so I'm excited hoping the 1st step off and ride go well

he is doing well but he needs time time time,,, he has all the traits though of an animal which will be well worth while to own. He is a wonderfully engaged. I love those stripes on legs..very cool.

It was nice watching how you do their hooves. Bc I'm still trying to get mine to do this. I have her halter broke, she takes a saddle, goes over traps. Real nice filly. But her hooves are a different store. Thank you for sharing. God Bless

Awesome job being patient and going slow. I’m not a trainer! My first mustang is a little bay from Drummond Land and Cattle Co. in Oklahoma I live in So. CA he was very wild and traumatized from his trip. I started with grain and when I started sacking him out I put the blanket in the grain barrel after that he didn’t react as bad. I also learned that if he could bite a object and it didn’t bite back he was cool with it. Mustangs are such cool unique horses! Thank you for taking the time to show how you train them. I’ve learned a lot.

Iv been around horses my whole life. Trained a few starting under saddle. And I understand that pretty much every horse is trainable. However I believe, and this is just my opinion that this horse should stay wild. He's been like this for to long and it is not right to make him change his ways now.
