In my country, a friend of mine beat his local arcade highest score in this game. Although there was never an official tournament, he was so ecstatic that right after the arcade, on his way home, he went to the trophy shop, and bought himself a trophy and awarded it to himself with his identification and other details engraved on it. And each time a party or reunion is held in his home, he brings the trophy out in the to be displayed before the crowd.
@@nobodytonobodysbusiness Well, at least he proved his talent in the game. But he really DID beat his score and played cleanly. And was known in arcade as an excellent player in the game to begin with. Fact : Nobody could beat his maximum high score in arcade till they closed down.
There's a kamikaze tactic with the Wulf where you stand on an ennemy (so you lose your power ups) and therefore spams rockets instantly to its face. (as rockets waits for the previous one to dissapear to be fired again) It is dumb. But it is fun. Also 14:05 that fire rate has been imprinted on my brain for 15 years. I'm pretty sure it'll stay here forever.
Hi mate, you made it ! I knew you would. 2ALLing any Psikyo shooter is a great achievement. You're the man. The fact it only took 4 months shows your skills are really huge. Espcially when I think it didn't take me 4 months, but 4 years to 2ALL Dragon Blaze ! Regards, Yace.
Man my brother and I would go across the street at the supermarket, back in the day where they just had the consoles loose, and play this thing for HOURS every day. It was this, Halo, and a bunch of other games there too.
Because I practiced this game for months and memorized all of the levels and bosses. It took a LONG time to get to the point I could clear the second loop.
Does this spawn you immediatly upon use of a credit? Unlike the other 2 ones who have you start from the beggining of stage 6 onwards if you use a credit
Could you do this one more time? But this time don't shoot the bosses. I noticed a couple of days ago on the arcade game that if you just dodge the bosses bullets , he just starts to explode and die on his own! at least the first boss did, never tried the others yet
I'm currently working on Strikers 1945 III, it's probably going to take a while to put a good run together. I've got everything mapped out it's just a matter of execution now. I'm trying for a 3+ million score.
+Sonicxtremer I haven't really played either of them very much (although I do own both), sorry. I will get to them at some point, but I'm not sure when.
+diapason89 The level 3 supershot is totally worthless for Hayate, level 2 is decent and I do use it in a few spots, but they are only needed for very specific situations. The level 1 should be more than enough for most of the game.
Yeah, the level 3 super shots of lightning, flying pancake and shinden are truly time-effective. lightning and flying pancake's lvl 3 super shots are able to nullify enemy bullets while shinden's lvl 3 super shots are capable of dealing massive dmg almost immediately, provided that you aimed it properly
The PS1 version is unreasonably more difficult to play since it doesn't have Tate mode. So you lose precious space which gives you more split seconds to react.
Hyper Vanilo The Flying Pancake was the best plane in the game due to smaller hitbox to squeeze through bullets easily and had a laser attack for the Level 1 and 2 charge shot and the Kamehameha for Level 3 charge shot.
Hyper Vanilo I noticed that the F-4 Phantom II in Strikers 1945 III is a combination of both Mosquito and Shinden except the fact that the Samurai Sword charge shot for Shinden became a bomb like in the first game and it was nerfed unlike this game and the first one.
