@@genuine1783 Then less people get to see the game. The boundaries are 70 metres, and the balls going into the spectator areas are going more than 8o metres. There are seats for 50,000. So removing the seats for another 10 metres would mean 10,000 less seats. The average boundaries at cricket grounds around the world are only 65 metres.

@@BatMan-oe2gh the straight boundaries are ok .but in Adelaide the side boundaries are too small. The straight boundaries are 82 83 metres but side boundaries are just 62 63 metre. It's very very unfair. And the more important fact is that every Adelaide cricket ground matches do not attract 50000 thousands spectators. Very few matches do that. So logically it's also wrong idea that removing seats means every matches will experience less spectators.
