Pradeep, thank you for the learning material and great presentation. How does string_agg recognizes that phone number are typed as integers and converts them automatically into strings? in my case postgres forces me to explicitly mark the phone numbers as strings so I have to add '::character varying' next to phone number when passing it as argument to the string_agg function

why this? Error in SQL statement: AnalysisException: Undefined function: string_agg. This function is neither a built-in/temporary function, nor a persistent function that is qualified as spark_catalog.default.string_agg.; line 1 pos 19

SELECT c.customer_name, c.customer_id, SUM(t.amount) total_amt FROM customers as c JOIN transactions as t ON c.customer_id = t.customer_id WHERE EXTRACT(YEAR FROM t.Transaction_Date) = EXTRACT(YEAR FROM c.registration_date) GROUP BY 1, 2 from the above syntax. Extract function is showing as this function doesnot exists in sql server, how to fix it, can anyone help me on this
