A Hungary native, Iren Zombor arrived in Memphis via the Greyhound Bus in 1996 to audition for the Memphis Symphony Orchestra. She has been played cello for the organization ever since. Among her many accomplishments, Zombor has traveled the world, played live shows with "Weird Al," and gives private lessons. She believes in passing on lessons that she was taught by influential instructors along the way. Zombor has developed quite a green thumb.
