My mail customer has an older echo trimmer and she was winding the string the old way. Im wondering if a speed feed head would fit on an older echo trimmer?
I'm wondering that too! None of the videos I've found on RU-vid explain what the hell that is or what it should be set at. The instructions that came with the trimmer only show that it should be at a certain position for cold start, and then another once it's started, but I want to know what it's called and why it's there!
ECHO USA Does the fuel have to be 89 octane? I have regular unleaded. The kind numbered 87 at a local gas station. Can the oil still be mixed into 87 regular unleaded and run the weed trimmer fine?
I just bought the srm 266t an it won't start it has spark what could be wrong i cut my backyard then sat it down came back about 20mins later an it wont run
After they have been running and then won't start when warm/hot it is usually the spark plug gap...need to be at .030...if you don't have a spark plug gapping tool use a flat head screwdriver and slightly open the gap (a standard business card ripped into three should be approximately the correct thickness). Check for buildup - if plug is fouled-use a little sandpaper between the gap...this will improve your spark...good luck
This guy is so hot and he knows it. The way he rocks those light grey pants just floods my basement. He would have no trouble getting me up and running on the coldest of days.
If the machine has sat for awhile, check for cracks in fuel line, maybe change the spark plug. Always store them without fuel in the tank. When you use fuel, use Chevron super unleaded.
I had a landscaping business in Florida and only used Echo weedeater and they always started at 2d or 3d try. You have to have good brand weedeater like Echo.
Wish it start like that I bought my new last year 2020 and it take for ever to get it started and some times it doesn't have power and leaking oil from exhaust
