I love how you went to all these different spots through the course of the day. North shore's been quiet for me too lately. Peanut bunker blitzes really died down
I woke up at 5am today to go there but when I laid down for 5 min I fell a sleep and woke up at 11am, still went though and had one bite in 2 hours, I’m definitely going tomorrow I’m not sleeping tonight.
@@Bsprecksfishing so only dedicated kayak launch spot/ramp - we can not launch from any beach or bay side? Bay side kayaking safe? like near green island fishing pier?
that spot in your opening clip was a secret to old timers for many years. I spent 2 straight months there on vacation in Sept/Oct 99 when my boat was under repair. Brought coffee and donuts every day and was allowed the prime spot occasionally. Top 5 fishing memories. It was tight fishing with a tight group of aged sharpies. But we targeted something else. I also brought green crabs. Flip one toward the opposite point and hold on.
@Bsprecksfishing I came here yesterday and tried for both blackfish and striped bass. no luck. I heard fish splashing around. I'm glad you got some action. thanks for all your amazing videos and bringing us along.
@@Bsprecksfishing Sorry - was not criticizing, was hoping they relaxed the rules up there. I moved south years ago and was speculating that the populations were rebounding (again...)
@@kevink9397 oh I see, yeah New York has had a 1 fish bag limit for a long time. They went to a 28”-35” slot limit a few years ago and now they narrowed the slot to 28”-31”
