Striped bass fishing the most epic day on shore 5/1/2024. O’Neill Forebay. O’Neill forebay fishing 2024. It was slow when we got to the fishing spot, no winds around 10:00am. winds picked up after a while, and then fish started biting like crazy. I caught my limit and then watched my dad fighting dinks after dinks all day fish were biting on his side.

I caught so many on Sunday May 12 off my kayak 9 Stripers in 1 hour get to keep only 2 🤣

I’m very impressed you still catching a lot of stripers in kayak especially right now a lot of seaweeds fishing from the bank. Keeping your limits better than no fish.👏🤣

what is the best time to fish for stripers? I saw some articles about stripers that its better to fish before sunrise and sunset. Or fishing during afternoon is okay? Thanks! Love your videos by the way!

Any days fishing is a good day, but try to be at the fishing spot before sunrise or after the sunset because the weather is hot and stripers bite change conditions . When there’s a little bit of winds between 5 to 10 miles usually is best. Good luck out there, god’s loves you. Thanks for watching.

When it’s a full moon day you’ll be catching them all day been fishing at San Luis and 4 Bay since 1982 😊

To get to that spot, go to the Medeiros Kiosk at O’niell Forebay. Take the left turn after paying at the kiosk, and continue on the road, passing the campsites. Good fishing 🎣
