I still can’t understand why Stro is an underdog. He is super nice with them words and his flow is wavy. Should be standing side by side with Joey badass when young emcees are mentioned. I’d go as far as saying I think he’s arguably the best young emcee from NYC. the older cats should acknowledge his skill and talent as much as they do these younger cats. 🔥🔥🔥🔥☄️☄️☄️
Its kinda off the strength of him being so similar to Joey. To be honest I didn't think Joey would blow like he has so far but something switched around mid-late 2016 were he started being more of personality and less industry averse.
joey being similar to him would be the right order as we already heard of Astro before Joey's come-up; that's a trivial point but i just had to say it. I reckon that there are a lot of contributing factors and I agree that being less industry averse covertly could help propel his career.
what does Jigga, Nas or biggie have in their voice that Stro doesn't. He is as cocky as Jay & Big and could be laid back as Nas. I think he just needs to play the music industry game a little more finess. I think kendrick's recent props will help a bit - A feature will work wonders on the other hand just as it did with Rapsody

Love the flow on the beat, but it's an old freestyle from one of his interviews. Definitely tightened up the rap and it sounds fire, but I want to hear something new
