front row !!! NEGATIVE COMMENTS, PLEASE KEEP TO YOURSELF. THANKS *** THE PEOPLE BEHIND DEADMAU5 ARE OUTSIDE THE STORE, THIS IS WHY THEY ARE NOT DANCING, ITS IN THE MALL. FOOTAGE WAS TAKEN FROM INSIDE THE STORE***
i love that dj r putting down the cdj and actually performing there songs evan if it is just an mpc...it shows the effort and that they actually know there own music
Well he was originally supposed to only play 1 show here, but it sold out so fast that they added 2 more since he had dead time from the time he had to go play in Vancouver i think. Im guessing the reason why he played at Footlocker is because they were starting to sell his t-shirts. I went to 2 of the shows he played plus this one at footlocker and met him twice and got 3 autographs :)
Lol so I was on a Fenway Park tour, and outside the stadium was a sign that said Deadmau5 on it and people were in a long line. If only I had known..........
@3510211 he's most likely cueing the tempo for the next song. remeber mau5 isnt a dj. notice how he isnt wearing headphones? thats because he does his mixing live off of ableton. he doesnt mix by ear, he mixes by what he says on his monitor
But why would he need to tap the tempo for the next song? Everthing is already presynced by the master tempo wich is 128 BPM in this case, and also why would he be tapping the tempo of the next song when Strobe always is the last song he plays?
I also did some research and whenever he does something on the effects box it's for effects only, the only other time he would tap something that fast is for triggering samples and or loops.
love how they stand there and just be like wtf is this.. who put him here? is that a robot? what? i cant buy any shoes Q~Q. dude i would be danceing or something lol
The crowd behind him is outside of the store haha. They can't hear anything through the soundproof glass. The real crowd was in front of him, and the guy videoing it was at the front
@dyepaintball123 exactly, like what other celebrity can you think of keeps their fans updated with everything, and goes on ustream and shares their life with the fans all the time. Id say hes the only one, which makes him totally kick ass :D
@3510211 FYI he doesn't just stand up there and play the tracks. He's up there assembling each stem of each track. If you look up some of his interviews he goes pretty far into detail in that regard. One single song may have like, 10+ individual tracks that he is playing together to give him maximum control over all of the song's nuances and variables. TL:DR: Chances are: He presses a button, it actually does something. He's not a faker like lots of other DJs.
