I'm a "fit and acitve" 52 year old woman who just had my 2nd stroke less than 2 weeks ago. My first one was an eye stroke in 2009. This time I was diagnosed with PFO among other things.. and still pending. Many follow ups to come. This is not my first rodeo being sick. I have stage 3 CKD, I had stage 3 cancer in 2005.. the list goes on, despite me being extremely proactive in my self care for decades. This is very interesting to me and extremely easy to understand and follow. I've watched many of your videos. You have a gift and are truly an asset to the world. You're a gem.💎 Thank you! ❤🙏🏽
Great video! I had my stroke 3 years ago. It left me with alexia, and hemianopia, among other gifts. Doing well these days and working very hard to prevent a repeat! I am so very thankful to the fantastic nursing staff that cared for me at the ER and in the hospital proper. Thanks for all you do!
You are truly molding future nurses all over the country & world. I am SO grateful for you, your channel, and for making your content so accesible to us all. Thank you Sarah!
Send it to her she'll not refused it😄😁 But kidding aside I would really love to send her a gift. But don't know if she'll agree or accept it and or gave us an address🥰
Wow, thank you so much for this video. I just asked for a lecture on neurological disorders about a week ago, and you actually did it. Thank you so much. God should continue to richly bless you!!!! THANK YOU.
I am a pharmacy student. Your videos helped me last semester on my group project on heart failure/pulmonary edema. This semester my project is on afib/stroke/seizures. Thank you very much. Bless
Your lectures are just amazing, turns out they are not as boring as our lecturers tend to make it. I don't know maybe it's the simple words that you use to describe complex phenomena. I'm in my 2nd year of nursing and I credit you for everything I've learnt. Keep up the good work. PS: Quizzes are the best.
My father have a hemorrhagic stroke in December 2006 he is 77 years old in on Christmas Day.. He has a high cholesterol and other health problem too.. I missed my father since in March 14, 2014.. He was in his 80's . He was 84 year old passed away..
You are AMAZING. Seriously - thank you for all the time you put into these videos. They've made such a difference, not just helping me know disease processes, but also helping me understand how to think as a nurse and what information is important to focus on. I've recommended you to many of my nursing friends and I'll continue recommending you until the freaking apocalypse. You. Da. BOMB!
Thank you Sarah so much for all of your videos! These help me so often to cover additional material that instructors aren't very detailed on! You simplify things so well! So glad I found your site a while back!

I have never in my nursing career found anyone who could break down and explain Medsurg topics the way you do! You are the best!

You are surely blessed with a beautiful mind and I thank God for all you do. I will continue to watch your videos throughout my career as a medical professional.
I’ve been a nurse for a while and I pretty much know most of this, your videos helped me immensely back when I first started but I still go back every now and then just to listen to that wonderful accent
THAN YOU VERY MUCH FOR THIS COMPREHENSIVE VIDEO. I HAD A RIGHT SIDED STROKE ALMOST 4 YRS AGO. I was a nurse for 22yrs. in 1995 I blew out discs in my neck and lumbar, then developed cfids and fibro. In ALL symptoms I developed ,occasionally falling, loss of balance I attributed to deconditioning. well I am 67 yrs old I am hoping to get some more help. thank you for this information
Serah I'm from Bethlehem- everyone I meet at my town, Palestine or Isreal. I tell them about you. Just to let you know, you became very popular here, and we LOVE you SO much. You are RARE. Blessing
You are the best; some physicians may know their job but cannot teach like you do. Thank you very much for a great job. I encourage all nureses to watch your videos if they want to improve their knowledge. 🙏🙏🙏😍
Thank you so much for all your videos!!! I've been using them all throughout nursing school! Currently, I do SO MUCH BETTER on exams in medsurg when I include watching your content as part of my studying!
I am a registered nurse here in the Philippines and also aspiring to be an USRN. Looking forward to taking the NCLEX and your videos certainly will help me with my review. I hope someday I can fulfill my American dream to work in your Country.
Wow, what a great presentation Sarah. I really liked the slides you put up on the screen, very nice addition. You certainly have your hands full with stroke patients. I cant imagine how exasperating that must be for the patient. I take Eliquis 5mg twice daily due to an aFib event back in August. So when you mentioned that TPA could not administered with recent use of anticoagulants my ears perked up! lol Great job Sarah!
I love your videos. You explain everything very well. I love the visual learning and all the mnemonics, they help so much. One thing I do think you should upload on it just pharmacology. It's so hard to wrap my head around and can't seem to get it down.
Thank you so much for doing this! Every time when we cover a new topic, I come here and search for your videos and it is so helpful! I recommended to all my nursing friends!
I know you have heard this more times then I can count....but I wouldn't be passing nursing school without you. Truly. You have a gift. Thank you from all of us, fellow nursing students. Love and hugs from Texas!

I suffered 12 strokes and was left with strabismus, aphasia, ataxia, change of personality and food preferences. The ignorance and ineptitude of the medical ptofessionals around me was alarming. We need you to educate them. Often, I was sent home without treatment.
I wish you were my lecturer 😍 Thank you so much😀😀 Your lectures and notes are so helpful and covers every single thing and the quiz questions are also very good😊 Thank you again.. You are just a brilliant teacher😀
