Join us on a picturesque walk from the Fenway Victory Garden towards the Hynes Convention Center T stop in June. Our journey begins along the Emerald Necklace, a series of parks and green spaces designed by Frederick Law Olmsted in the late 19th century to provide a continuous, interconnected park system for Boston.
As we walk, we pass by the Back Bay Fens, established in 1879, a beautiful urban park featuring waterways, gardens, and historical monuments. One notable monument is dedicated to John Boyle O'Reilly, a poet, patriot, and orator who lived from 1844 to 1890.
Our walk continues past the Boston Conservatory at Berklee, an institution renowned for its performing arts programs. The tour concludes just as a downpour begins, capturing the vibrant and dynamic atmosphere of this historic area.
