Going on 5 months without sleeping through the night so I’m with you!! 20 min is all my toddler and newborn will allow me right now so I doubled up weights and went super heavy and made it worth it. You’ve helped me not only physically throughout pregnancy and postpartum but more importantly MENTALLY. My PPD and PPA has been almost non existent this time around thanks to working out with you every day. I so appreciate you.
I'm 68 years old, my new mom days are long ago, my lunges are not as deep as yours and my weights are 3 lbs apiece but I love the variety and pace of your workouts. A shout out to all my fellow old ladies - do what yo can. It feels great.
Thanks for mentioning your age, Alicia! I am 62 and have been able to keep up with exercises for the 1st Trimester (never see that again! LOL) and needing more strength!! I will need to take the beautiful advice of taking it at my pace. I thank God for PAUSE!! Then I can catch up!! LOL!!
I'm 71 years old, knee and hip issues. i've been able to modify as needed to keep up with your workouts, and I'm so happy to have a go-to for in-home workouts!
Having just turned 60 I am in a much different place than you and many who have commented. I have been working out since I graduated from college...and happily found you during COVID when I was not able to go to the gym. I have found you and your workouts to be so very helpful...the strength training is a given, the workouts keep my heart rate up which is good for not only my heart but also my brain, I have to concentrate in order to follow you or Rachel(thanks for having her there!)also good for my brain, you put exercises together in ways that I never would...a plus for my body and my brain and a big one for a woman of my age...your workouts help with balance! This workout was no exception...quick and to the point! I have enjoyed these workouts so much that you remain my Monday workout even though I am back at the gym the rest of the week. Where you end up in your life is about 20-30% genetics and the rest you can attribute to diet and lifestyle choices...working out is a critical lifestyle choice...thanks for making it an easy choice!
Turning 60 this month. My story is similar except hitting NML 3-4 times per week and outside for walking or biking 6-7 days. Bad weather days are dreadmill or bike trainer. So glad I found NML during the Vid.
I turned 59 in October, and I have ,always, loved NML,I am starting nursing school next September. Age is not a barrier. These workouts remind me that I am strong and capable. Love , Rachel, love Lindsay holy bananas.
Amazing!! I want to be like you when I am older!! I just turned 30, so half your age, and I am working hard on developing a workout habit. I want to age well, and I dont have a lot of women around me that are older and still working out. I SO applaud you and am grateful to be able to look up to you and try to follow the same path.
Finished DAY ONE! As a homeschooling mom of 3, it feels nice to squeeze in 20 minutes for myself while the baby naps and the big kids watch a little TV. 🥰
Love your workouts Lindsay! And equally love your unashamed testimony of God. Thankful for women like you out there who don't compartmentalize their faith and are comfortable mentioning "God gave you two beautiful legs" even in the daily activity of working out! ❤️
Heck yes! Did this with 30 lbs weights for the majority of it. When I started working out less than 2 years ago I was using 10 lbs! I can go thirties because of YOU GUYS! THANK YOU FOREVER ❤❤❤❤
After about 3 years, I restarted my NML journey with this very program in June. I was lifting 15 pound DBs for my "grab your heavy weights" and today, I was grabbing 30s and 35s! 🎉 Thank you Lindsey, Rachel, and NML community!
Im usually a crazy person who loves your pyramid workouts haha but I am in a season of 4 or 5 hours of sleep a night and have so been struggling to find the motivation to workout. Thanks for bringing a quick approachable workout for these crazy seasons! Youre both amazing and so appreciated 💕
I was looking at your channel and surprised at the amount of subscribers you have. You definitely DESERVE way more and it’s all for FREE. I just want you to know that all your hard work is very much so appreciated thank you ❤also you look stunning in that jacket 😍🥰
Whew! I'm in a new season of life to as a 51 year menopausal woman. My 40's was the fittest life since my teens and 20's. I am fighting back after prolapse and all the hormonal changes that have occurred since my late 40's. Thank you for these wonderful workouts...my recovery is a bit longer these days thanks to low estrogen but I'm here💪
I am 56 years old and have decided not to do a new years resolution but just a daily taking care of myself. My husband has type 2 diabetes so we are working harder on an even healthier diet. I was actually surprised that I could do most of the exercises without variations. Thanks!!!
Just starting this program to cap off summer. I loved the back & leg combo! I typically love working upper body and dread lower body, so combining the two was a real treat!
After sickness and starting up homeschool again for the year I took a month off working out. This is the perfect "getting back into it" workout! Thank you ladies for the encouragement and great workout!
😮💨😮💨🔥🔥 coming back from almost a two week break wow 🥵 now that kids are back to school is back to 5 a.m and this fix perfectly w my schedule. I had a 10 month baby and got blessed with twins girls so I haven’t had any perfect sleep since then and is going to be 9 years postpartum 🫣😖. Thank you 🙏🏼 NML TEAM 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I'm 11 weeks postpartum and don't have the time for anything longer than 20 minutes or the physical capability yet for cardio, so this is the perfect program for me! Thank you!
Hi. I just did this 20 min workout and I wanted to say thank you. I don’t have the excuse of being a busy baby or toddler mum (I’m 49 and my kids are 16 and 19 yo) but I always struggle to workout. I know I should and I know strength training is the way to go to keep / grow muscle as I’m approaching menopause … but doing it and keeping up doing it is where I struggle at. So 20 minutes seemed less daunting than 30 or 45 minutes. I tried and I’m proud because I did it 🎉 it was not perfect (and I used weights of only 2 kg and 3kg) but at least I showed up and moved my body today. I will try to do the next one and who knows. maybe I’ll do the whole series …
OMG!! I have been so lazy and my toddler is already 3 and I am still waiting for the right day to start my fitness journey. Thank You for the inspiration.
Thank you for these shorter formats. I am struggling with a lot including rehabbing my core muscles (post surgery, rehabbjng again with walking but also need something extra) and this fits the bill and is so helpful. I subbed resistance bands for the weights and managed to get good lower body and core focused workout that actually hasn't wiped me or my motivation out. Can't wait to be able to rehab enough where I can use weights. The resistance bands however are great for using with weights to prevent one from releasing so fast on the rear flyes (or many other moves not in this specific workout, like triceps, biceps, lateral raises, etc..)
Hi NML! Thank you for all your workouts! I found you back in 2018 with my first pregnancy! This is by far my favorite program 20 min is all i have with 4 girls 🤪 my last pregnancy was twins and i was so scared for my diastasis recti but I've been doing strong 20 since spring 2023 and my gap has never been this small! So THANK YOU so much for all you do🙏🏼
I'm five years postpartum :) but I get up at 5am to get my workout in, so 20 minutes is awesome, and I knew I could count on you to make it worthwhile. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and enthusiasm; I appreciate nml so much! 😍
Wow! You account just popped up as recommended for me, and this is EXACTLY what I am looking for. Perfect amount of time for a busy woman, and seriously challenging
Can I just say how happy I am that I found your Instagram page during Covid. For this year I am starting over yet again due to some very painful hip issues in 2022. This strong in 20 program is perfect. Because sometimes all you have is 20 minutes. Thanks for showing up and sharing your knowledge.kve you and your team.
Way to go! I'm 15 months pp and finally transitioning to higher intensity workouts. This just happened to show up on my for you page and I am so here for it. Was a great workout and looking forward to tomorrow!! Edit: I'm back 10 months later and 6 weeks postpartum. Can't believe how much I missed working out with you since baby was born. Endorphins are high and I am so proud of me for sticking with you throughout. I am so stinking strong! I have more strength goals than I ever would have imagined and it's all thanks to you!! You ladies are awesome.
Loved your workouts prior to this one but now doing the Day 1 workout, it's my new favorite! Thank you for creating workouts that will strengthen you, kick your butt and don't take much of your time in the day! Like a lot of women doing your workouts and you included, we don't have much time to give being mommas, so thank you for all that you do!
All I can say, THANK YOU! ❤ You ladies have been a blessing in my life. I've part of NML for 4 years and have learned so much about mobility and strength. My baby girl is 6 months old and this workout program is fabulous! I can "go heavy" and plow it out with a run before she is awake. Your positivity, laughter, encouragement get me ready for the day. Thank you, Lindsey, Rachel, and NML Team. Can't wait to order my Holy Bananas sweat shirt when the merch store reopens. ❤
This was amazing!!! I felt like I could go heavier because it’s only 20min so I wasn’t intimidated!! I am so stoked about this program!! This is exactly what I need right now!! Can’t wait for the next day!!! 🙌🏼💪🏼
Oh what a way to start this New Year Challenge! Day 1 brought the heat and those 2 burnout round moves, really ended it with a good old burn session! Let's go day 2!
I am 2 months post partum today with my third baby. I know this workout is only 20 minutes but I had to pause to do something mom related about 8 times. Lol. Thank you for this workout! I'm so glad I kept coming back to finish it anyway. These quick workouts are what I need, mentally and physically. It's soo hard to change the mindset from hour long or more workouts but that is the season I am in. I need to keep telling myself that "some minutes are better than no minutes." It's just crazy how it's difficult to even just find 20 uninterrupted minutes in the day lol. But thank you very very much for this. Excited to do this strong 20 series!
Giiirrlll! I just found you! Finally, someone who gives you that push that makes you want to keep going. You don't give us time to even think about giving up!! GOOD JOB GIRL!! LOOVVEEE IT!!!🎉
Love the 20 minute workouts. With a toddler it’s about as long as I can get away with! Also easier to do consistently if I know it’s going to be quick and effective.
Thanks so much!! I just jumped on board with Day 1!! I will be back tomorrow for a stab at day 2!! Arms!! Whew!! I am drowning in my sweat!! Great Workout!!
I've been pretty bad and haven't worked out since October. So, I decided to ease myself back into working out with this series. No, more letting life get in the way of staying active. Great workout!
Just did this one and added the 10min legs, and: oh wow!!!! I did it on the tv with my boyfriend's account, but had to watch it on my phone too, so I can hit like twice! 🔥🔥🔥
May be one of my new favorite NML workouts! The upright dumbbell---brilliant! The glute bridge with upper body also brilliant. Thank you for another great workout!
Felt like you were talking directly to me today, so finally listened & went heavy, 30 lbs for the first circuit & then 20 for the 2nd. Couldn't keep up with your pace, but proud that I did it. Thanks for that push & reminder to go heavier at times :)
Great start to this program! I'm 7 months postpartum and ready to get back into it after following your program throughout my pregnancy! Looking forward to the rest of it!
Great way to kick off June! I started with NML last June with the 20 minute program. Did this one with mostly 20 lb weights. Tried but failed to do back fly with 20 but did with 12. Thrilled with my progress - from 10s to 20s. Thank you! I am an NML disciple, spreading your amazing exercise and wellness gospel to whoever asks me “how are you staying fit?”
So glad you found your way to NML! You are so awesome! You can also join our email list to get a 7 day workout plan every Sunday -- www.nourishmovelove.com/subscribe/
Returning to this challenge for the 3rd time- and doing with a group of friends. Increased my weights today!! Thankyou for all your videos!!! They are amazing!
This was my first workout since my miscarriage in October. I just haven’t been able to mentally get myself to workout. I’m so glad I saw these 20 minute workouts. They didn’t seem so impossible. Looking forward to the rest of the videos
I am so sorry, I hope all is going well! I am happy to hear you found your way to NML and are loving the strong 20 program! Keep coming back to sweat with us!
Absolutely love this workout! I missed most of the STRONG 20 Challenge when it was first launched, and I'm sooo happy to be catching up! Challenging circuits but you guys keep us motivated like no one - thank you Lindsey and Rachel!
So funny how you do these programs and it still kicks your butt. 😅 I am grateful for the Strong in 20 because once again it's a way to get back into being consistent. Love you and your team @NML❤
The timing is so apt for this one. I am starting Jan semester that is a rigorous 3 weeks semester with classes 4 days a week. And this program with just 20 minutes feels quick yet effective with all the combined, complex moved. Thank you Lindsey and NML team
One of my favorites... quick and effective. After two weeks of your barre/pilates workouts, it felt good to pick up the heavy weights again. Thanks, ladies! 154
Great workout! I am going to need to buy heavier weights in 2023, thanks to all your great workouts! This is a solid, efficient workout - and I appreciate the suggestion for adding the 10-minute leg workout for days I have time and need/want a little more!
Just found your channel and did Day 1 today. Exactly what I was looking for in a workout! Thank you! It's nice finding a channel that understands the life of a mom. 20 minutes is something I can do without interruption and still give me a bit of time for a quick shower while the babies nap. A workout and a shower in the same day... happy mama over here😁.
Holy bananas, that was hard. Im excited to continue the challenge. As a Minneapolis mom I so appreciate you and your workouts. You’re amazing doing all of this 5 months postpartum. Thank you to you and your team for everything you ladies do!!!!
excellent start to the week! Just finished the beginner 30 challenge and am set to do this series twice - really excited! I've got 20lb weights in my future, I can feel it! Thank y'all so much :)
Thanks Lindsey, this was exactly what I needed to get out of my stagnant mode... 20 min and a good stretch. Keeping it up with you and Rachel. Thanks for the great motivation and your wonderful energy! Going on with my day now. Thank YOU!!!!
So thankful for these 20 minute workouts. They are easy to fit into my busy days. I appreciate the variety and the accommodations. You two ladies are fun to work out with. I think this is going to be my 3rd time doing this 2 week series. It's my favourite length of all the work outs you offer. Thank you for what you do!
I did this workout this morning and I was huffing and sweating…lol. Great workout for such a short period of time! Considering the actual work period was about 15 minutes! As usual, you squeezed a lot in…loved it!!!
Just found you and love your workouts! I have slightly older kids (4, 6, and 10) but we homeschool and I still get interrupted A LOt! This is the perfect amount of time and allows me to show up well for the people I love and serve!
I am still mostly using 10s but I need a set of 15s now because I feel like I can move up for some moves. And for the first time I picked up one of my husband's 20s to do some of the workouts. So proud and excited!!!! Love it! And I love how I feel! I am so agile and full of energy while chasing around my kids everyday!
@nourishmovelove thanks friend!! Thought you might think this is cute: My kids (both 4 and under) also love copying the moves whenever I work out and they are awake. My 4 year old loves saying "holy bananas" and "holy bananas, I feel it!" It makes me laugh! He likes to point out Miss Rachel and Miss Lindsay. He also loves watching the timer on the videos. I just love your energy, you are such a wonderful and motivating person! :)
I have been so busy these last two weeks and have not been able to work out, then i got sick! This is my first workout back. It was quick and I got to push my elf but only for 20 mins so it was bearable. It feels great to work out again. This workout was perfect
