I did this today without the tip, just the length of my natural nail and LOVE the outcome. I just wanted my nail stronger. So excited I finally did it myself and it looks so good! It looked so good I almost left them clear. I used a matte polish in the end.
I purchase uv gel builder yesterday and im struggling how to use I thought its just a glue or polish gel but after i saw this post it made me excited to do my own nails,im done with press on it keeps fallin after 3days so I switched to acrylics, anyway thanks for the this love it!❤
What's the point of putting a big glob of gel then file it down, that's a waste of product and time. I'm fan of gel by the way, I find gel adheres better on my nails than acrylic.
Yeah it looks amazing but I feel that way would take forever to sculpt the nail back to normal. I'm sure it would be better with a different application though
Well.. the nail looks nice done in clear, I love clear nails But.. what I've noticed.. is that many nail technicians don't go all the way up to the cuticle when applying acrylic, gel or this type of coating to start the nail out. Why do technicians make that mistake. It's like paying for nails that are half done. I like the clear nails, I don't care for stiletto or this shape nail but the clear coating is nice just please fill that nail part to the cuticle ! And not so thick ! I like the clear it looks like a thick gel but it shouldn't make your nails look like you have a pound of strong clear on each nail and start at the CUTICLE !!!! Well my natural nails are long and I do my own nails because I know what I want. If you're paying, it's what you want
It may depend on where you are/were going. I like the nail enhancements all the way up to the eponychium but I also don't want to give my clients contact dermatitis so I have to do it just right. If prepped correctly, that area is pushed back before application. As a technician I know where the space is but you as the client won't be able to detect it after I have completed the service because the skin will move back to its original position. Also, some techs think builder gel and hard gel are interchangeable and they aren't, they have different purposes. I will agree that was a lot of gel to put on that nail. Better to work in small beads to build your structure than to waist time and product with one bead. Also you risk compromising your structure because even though gel is self leveling, it doesn't always go where you want it to. Since your nails are long may I recommend Sally Hansen's Hard as Nails, Hard as Wraps? You can wear it alone or as a basecoat for your polish. Another good one is Sally Hansen's Triple Strong. Wear alone or as a basecoat.
I can still see the tip.. Also again.. the nail cuticle is left unfilled. Why do nail technicians leave that part out. It feels like the nail is half done
Bueno yo tomé 3 cursos de uñas con cosmetología uñas seda cristal periódico y más y Master nails .un japonés me enseñó con una sola bolita se hace NO es necesario hacer una montaña
As a person that used to use acrylic nail stuff for gluing in teeth I would suggest having a UV LED light to cure so it doesn't soak into your skin. It's only a short term solution because it's carcinogenic and can cause cancer.
