I really appreciate the detail you include in what you're doing and why. I take mental notes on how you handle your flying and your radio etiquette to improve my own as I take my next flight. There's something OH SO picturesque about the blue waters of Abaco HOWEVER. . .you can't help be amazed at the presentation INSIDE the cabin AND OUTSIDE the cabin! Even to gaze and admire a Cirrus makes me smile while flying over the blue waters. Great video.

Those new Cirrus are really nice aircraft, and they have them so well designed for safety and ease of flight and comfort that it's amazing to see where smaller aircraft have developed into. Some nasty winds..even if you did miss some weather, but made it work very well.

When I flew to the Bahamas I remembered what you said in one of your videos about the clouds/weather over grand Bahamas going I was on the south. on my return I flew the north side .That flight taught me so much and was an experience of a life time..

Very nice Steveo!!!!!!! I like to use the term "Push Off the Crab" with the rudder which implies a progressive action, but not jabbing action as "kick off the crab" implies. The heavier the airplane to more I would emphasize this phrase. ( e.g. TBM, 737, 767 etc.) Excellent video as usual.

Nice! During my last flight lesson is we had a strong crosswind landing. It was fascinating to watch my CFI concentrate on those controls. We almost went around. Afterwords, he asked if I heard of personal minimums. I did, and he said, "yeah, I just increased mine."

Everytime I see SteveO or Niko fly a Cirrus I ask my wife if I can have one for my birthday or Christmas. Then she gives me "THE" look. Then I say BUT Nate will hook us up. He wants us to adopt one and take it home. Then she shakes her head and says NO. I am trying Nate...I am trying! We need the plane more than we need shoes for her!

Next time don't ask her.... "Babe.... on the way home from work i bought a new Plane."... Then if you have to(just in case) you can follow up with "Oh i bought you some shoes" Thats what i used to do with my GF when i came home with something nice for me. Just think ahead and enjoy life.

@@gewglesux I can see it now... Honey, I bought you some brand new shoes. We just have to pick them up in Palm Beach. We go get the new shoes then I say to her... Do you REALLY want to fly back to Raleigh COMMERCIAL! This is Nate and This is our Brand New SR22T. We going home in style baby! Leather seats and no touchy feely by the TSA. She says looking right past me, "Hey Nate... how much is it?" I interrupt and say, "What the plane...PRICELESS just like you." Nate answers $749.999. Wife gasps, "$3/4 million dollars!!!" I say, "NO! Right Nate? It's actually less than that." Wife stomps me to death with her new shows. She then pays Nate an undisclosed sum to fly her out over the Bahama Strait to "Get rid of something" Nate is like whatever I was in the military I can keep a secret. I am never heard from again. NO THANK YOU! I will just live in envy...for now!

Nice flight and display of cross wind landing. That Cirrus is one hell of a hotrod! I have a question if I may. When you "opened" your flight plan with Miami Center as you climbed out of Treasure Cay Airport, am I correct you still filed flight plan on the ground prior ( to departure 1 or 2 hour in advance) ? The only reason I ask is the sequence shown just has the appearance of missing this step and bypasses Bahamas point of entry (control) of flight management of its airspace. I'm sure this isn't the case given regs, etc. What was the experience like using e-APIS in the Bahamas? Might be a great topic for a future video. I've never used General Aviation e-Apis or DVFR procedures into the Bahamas. I haven't flown into the Bahamas since the late 90s, long before 9/11. This looks like a *ALLOT* of fun and easy to accomplish using the right aeroplane and procedures.

Another good video Steve and a much better landing than I was expecting in that little thing with the wind. You said that they were hiring...might contact them for a part time gig. I have ZERO time in a Caravan but a little over 20,000 hours total in 32 years. Been retired now for a number of years but still fly myself to have fun. Little request if possible from you...post your old videos of your "PRE" TBM days...like the one you mentioned in the King Air. Maybe make a new folder to put your vids in of all the other aircraft you have flown. I would like to see them and I am sure others here would also. Fly safe.
