My niece was one of these amazing young people 13 years ago. Told after her bone marrow transplant that she'd never bare children of her own. I'm soooo proud to report that she's a thriving 26 yr old mother of 2 yr old twin boys!!!! Never count yourself kicked guys!!! Hang in tough!! The fight is worth it.... YOU'RE WORTH IT!!!
My 11 year old daughter lost her 2 year battle with brain cancer in 2014 but she was a perfect example of strength. Praise the Lord for her life. Strength to all those still in the battle and blessings.
Those of us who are fighting cancer (3-year sarcoma survivor; 4-month breast cancer survivor) support all those who are battling as well as remembering those who have lost their battle. Think about participating in a Relay for Life near you or donating on behalf of someone you know. I did three Relays last year and will do two this year. It makes me feel much better to give back. ;-)

This video makes me cry but it also makes me so happy to see these sick kids in the best care they could be in. I want to be a pediatric nurse at Seattle Children's because I love working with kids and making a positive difference in a child's life. Nowadays, though, I believe I am stronger for having faced it, and most recently completed a challenge (walking/running/jogging 100 miles in one month) in support of amazingly strong people such as yourself.

We just lost our 29 yo daughter who battled AML for 9 years, her Celebration of life was yesterday. Every time I watch Christopher's very talented video there is one little girl in there that reminds me of my daughter. She was never at Children's she was at U.W. It is such a nasty way of life that people have to experience and so many don't over come it. My Princess was promoted to an Angel on September 29,2013 and forever in my heart... Love you Mish, Daddy

i use to watch and dance around the house last year in may when i first saw. my husband had finshed his chemos and radiation and june 5 said he was cancer free. i was so happy dancing around. well my sweet gary died 8-21-12 as the cancer came back within weeks with a vengence. i watched this today and i just cry now. i loved this video. CANCER took this video from me to. it takes everything.....

My boyfriend has cancer, and he was so sad, so depressed, and this video gave him hope to continue to fight. At the weekends I go to the hospital to be with him, and I see how it's hard... So people who is sad and depressed... Don't give up! You are stronger than cancer, you just have to believe.

My niece was in the hospital (she is great now) and because of her this has inspired me to create the "New Day, New Smile. Children’s Bedside Circus” tee from New Day, New Smile. She loved the tee and now other children can love the tee as well!!

I could have never imagined that, as a family in Texas, we would move to Seattle for my then 8-year-old son fighting aggressive leukemia (AML) shortly after this video came out. Seattle Children's turned over EVERY stone for my son, including a 3rd bone marrow transplant. They are an incredible institution for pediatric blood cancers and marrow transplants -- one of the best, if not THE best for high-risk leukemias (mine and other's experiences). Love ya, Seattle Children's. Keep up the good work. Sadly, my son passed away, but we remain forever grateful.

I love this video - it makes me cry every time I watch it...I contracted a rare form of leukemia in 2010 and am now in remission. I was in the hospital for 32 days - going through much of what these fighters must endure. As far as I am concerned - all of the patients, families, nurses and doctors are Angels on earth....you are the true heroes because of your strength of character. Thanks for making this video.

It is so awesome to see the nursing staff have the Time to be able to care for the patient and learn the dance and make this happen. The making of this video things like this word very common in pediatric hospitals. Now kids are struggling to get care along with young adults such as Eye because there are no nurses there’s no staff and that has caused a number of issues. Healthcare just is not what it once was I hope these kids have the best outcome. I hope that they were able to reach remission without devastating complications from the chemo and radiation. So survive mitochondrial disease I am determined to go into pediatric oncology I want to be like these nurses I want hospitals to have nursing staff. We need nurses so badly. Being a nurse is one of the hardest jobs in the world especially here in America if there’s anyway possible if anybody sees us let it inspire you to become a nurse. There is a lot more hope in pediatric cancer than money realize but we need staff first and foremost to support kids like these kids had. A huge thank you to all those who participated in this video it is absolutely beautiful warmed my heart and reignited my inner flame to contain to fight toward recovery and hopefully be able to be a nurse. I want to be a nurse like these kids a had! I want to help these kids smile. Please be inspired! We need nurses!
