To me, Tenjiro got the biggest glow-up with the additions (pun intended, Kinpika is dazzlingly bright). While every other member had something going for them in looks and abilities, it just seemed that he got the short end of the stick. So it definitely something to see him take down one of the strongest Sternritter despite any doubts we held about him. Even though it makes Jugram and Uryu a little less threatening, the fact that they got back up after all that is still something to consider. They were the only ones who didn't get one-shot by Squad Zero members the first time- and both did better than the others while being in Senjumaru's bankai.
@@KingRoot-ie9qh I don't disagree; the Quincies were at a disadvantage in the Cage of Life. I was just saying that Jugram and Uryu fared better than the others. They're all still pretty strong regardless.
@@sparknazo Exactly! Raw skill is a vitality. The others were purely relying on their schrifts. Uryu and Jugram have more... passive schrifts in that sense, which is why they have to rely on other means of attacking. It is a similar case with Kyoka Suigetsu and Aizen- complete hypnosis is not a melee ability, just an assist. That's why Aizen is so good at zanjutsu and kido- because that's the way he can properly deal damage, not just by the abilities of his blade.

It's not like senjumaru wants to shake and risk the realms, she just can't suppress it enough to not shake the realms, ichibei can, he's the strongest most haxed most wise and simply the og shinigami, realistically he also should have the most control over his power
Reading the manga version of the Squad 0 battle was such a letdown compared to how amazing it was in the anime. Even without Senjumaru using bankai the anime version slaughtered in every way in comparsion. Glad that Squad 0 got the proper treatment here I love all of them
The manga was rushed at the end. I think the anime production dragged down the prestige of the manga, the fillers were sporadic and unbearable, the recap in each episode was excessively long. We always hoped for them to come back and finish this series and has been worth the wait.

i personally think Senjumaru outperformed O-Etsu Nimaiya in Cour 2. not just with her Bankai. but against the SS in general. especially when compared to Nimaiya. he got hit 3 or 4 times by Lille Barro. while she got hit.... 0 times. unless you count her illusory fabric clones. which, i don't. i know he's the Number 1 Original Zanpakuto Creator and all. but still.

I think Kirinji > Senjumaru in term of fighting and power, lemme explain, Sealed Kirinji as obliterates Jugram in 1v1 but sealed senjumaru struggled agaisnt Uryu, also, his versatility was more usefull in direct confrontation (his heal with blood water or when he use water, it's more direct to use). If we put senju higher it's (imo) only cuz we saw her when she was unsealed and I think every squad 0 member unsealed has the power to shake the 3 realms with Bankai.
I think Krinji and Senjamuru both low diffed Uryu and Jugaram Krinji is just stronger cause I think he's just more mobile and physically superior while Senjamuru techinally is faster than all Gotei 13 members but in terms of squad zero she's more Mayuri type
@@KingRoot-ie9qh Glade the anime gave them a adapted -wiki, adaptation reckon even if they escape you got 2 more cours and if the rumours are about content, new anime - scene fights, lore the main cast and others have to or contribute somehow . I hope the anime continues to keep and build up on their reputation despite them escaping.

1. Kirio has no control over mod souls, just standard Gikon. Mod Souls weren't invented until after Urahara was banished, as mentioned in the Reigai Uprising. Urahara told Kon Project Spearhead occurred after he was banished. 2. I have a *Theory* that Senjumaru & Tenjiro joined the Royal Guard prior to the existence of the Gotei. Ichibei & Oetsu were members when Yamamoto was a child & they already had Shihakushō. Tenjiro taught Unohana &, based on his strength, the only reason Yamamoto wouldn't've recruited him was if he was already a part of the Royal Guard. 3. Theory: Oetsu has multiple Shikai & Bankai. We've seen his Zanpakuto spirits: Mera Hiuchigashima (The strongest Fire type Zanpakuto), Tokie Tonokawa (The strongest Water type Zanpakuto), Hasuka Hashihara, Nonomi Nomino & Tsumiko Tsuchimiya. Given They're Zanpakuto that help in the forging process, They're probably his personal Zanpakuto.
I think I agree with the rankings, but I have a couple theories. I think the food can sort of grant a higher limit on ones reishi. But I think it would just put the same amount back to her if she eats it. For Senjimaru, I think she was chosen to use her bankai because it might've been the best one for multiple opponents, where as Oetsu's may be more single target or a stat buff to himself. I also think Oetsu may be kind of immune to the effects of zanpakto as their creator. Not like slashes or like getsuga, but like Shinji, Aizen, genjutsu type things. Possibly Ichibe too as the one who named them.
Hey man, great vids as always! i enjoy your input into bleach lore 100%. I do gotta say on kir, im pretty happy that they did him justice well all of squad zero. If yu was able to dodge him only in the arc its kinda terrible story telling. Im super happy that he was a bit more relevant.
I like Ouetsu way more than senjumaru but I think Senjumaru is a little stronger since Kubo said on Klub Outside that her bankai essentially BENDS REALITY which is crazy hopefully Nimaiya's bankai is just as cool but it's hard to argue that they must of chosen Senjumaru for a reason
@kvng7723 He has countless base Zanpakto but That doesn't mean he still has better hax than those above him. Maybe Oetsu>Kirio but he's not above Senjumaru with her infinite reshi thread throughout the realms and Ichibei's Black manipulation throughout the realms

Right off the bat, you make the mistake of being the newest member to least experience fighting. Who knows? She may have been a Captain for a Division for much longer getting actual constant real life fighting experience vs once you’ve been promoted to Zero Division, you pretty much never fight, just relying on your skills you had once you were promoted. A longer period of time outside of Zero Division could possibly equate to higher fighting ability, or rather more practical fighting ability.
Ichibei's position is well deserved given he personifies Soul Society's history. His ability is also meaningful given he has essentially written the official narrative of the war to be consumed in Soul Society's historical accounting, altering it to make it seem both innocently defensive and that absolutely nothing happened to the 'king'. Many who know the truth do not like this for obvious reasons with Yoruichi, Kira and Rose denouncing this propaganda narrative and wondering what else is a lie or rose tinted half history.
Problem is.....they are still going to get ran through and Juhas forces will be fine. For me what the anime did although nice, didnt change my view of them. Which is lackluster. They dont even show up to provide support for Ichigo or the other captains. They are just DOWN for the count
Yeah I think however there's only so much you can do especially when you need to give the main cast their fights if Squad Zero took out everbody except Yuha that leaves everyone with nothing to do and they did prove they much stronger than the 13
@@sparknazo Not really , when the 13 squads go and fight literal stronger versions of these henchmen later one. It makes their defeat here that much more pointless.
It serves a point thematically- Squad Zero is quite arrogant, despite having so much power. They don't know what it is like to truly fight for something because of how detached they are. Ichibei didn't think too highly of Yhwach and even let him come up to the Soul Palace because he thought he could take him. The Gotei 13 and the others who defeated the Quincy were fighting hard and strong, with a determination to live that surpassed anything else. Squad Zero were defeated by their own pride- we'll have to see how the 3rd Cour will handle Senjumaru's bankai, but that is the reason nonetheless.
@@UnifiedEntitythey go against stronger versions and either lose or require significant plot contrivances to "win" . The G13 are not stronger than the royal gaurd and the anime had basically doubled down on this
Oddly enough the anime if anything made me think Nimaya was overhyped and is far weaker then we first thought. Hes the original smith and creator, that alone doesn't make him strong and I feel outside of Hikifune he is easily the second weakest. I feel Senjimaru and Kirinji are the stronger 2. This being said Nimaya is by far the most showboaty and entertaining but despite his contribution being the strongest I feel in combat hes actually the weakest of the "fighters". He had to get bailed out by both Kirinji and Senjimaru which tells me he isn't versatile enough to contend at the top.
