Although i would prefer that Superior Programing rather be used to boost the Magnaguard's Stamina as well as giving it a faster Stamina Regen while in it's duration rather than affecting health
But to balance it out, Combat Acceleration and Droid Rage can't be used while Superior Programing is Active. Also (forgot to mention that), while Active, Blocking Attacks will drain half the amount of Stamina but attacking will drain 50% more Stamina instead. In other words, i would make Superior Programming to be a Defense-centered ability
This magna guard build would be very OP as a reinforcement, but this brings a new creative idea to Battlefront 2. A step in between a common reinforcement and a hero, we could call them elite units or something along the lines of that and have things like mandalorian warriors, wookie chieftains, magna guard protectors, or even certain beasts from the star wars franchise like the rancor in this category, thoughts on that. I am looking forward to new studios picking up star wars where EA sadly left alot of untapped potential. with the remake of KOTOR coming out we are looking to see some amazing stuff in the future and as someone going into college to study both music and coding, I am hoping to start working with game development in the next 3-4 years.

I'd go with "Minor Hero" and put side characters like Dengar and Nien Nunb or TV show characters like Din Djarin and Ezra Bridger in there (as well as characters like Kal Kestis and bump down Iden Versio). leave the Major Heroes to the main film characters (and maybe Ahsoka Tano since I think she's earned it) Health range should be from 400 to 600, with 500 being the average, but with some overlap between the highest end reinforcement and lowest end Major Hero, with the abilities and cost making the difference. Magnaguard should be brought down to 380 to 400 health like the Flametrooper and no overheal, and should be at the upper end of Reinforcement. I would rework the Wookiees, Ewoks and others into a "Militia" class that is only available on their respective maps and only to certain factions (though if that faction controls their planet in Galactic Conquest mode then they can use the unit on any map and even unlock a Minor Hero of that type. Tarfful for the Wookiees, Wicket for the Ewoks etc. Empire and CIS would get a passive bonus for controlling Kashyyyk instead (the Wroshyr Sap Refineries) Adding in Geonosians for the CIS, Trandoshans for both Empire and CIS, Noghri and the planet Honoghr for the Empire, and Gungans for Republic/Rebels. Mandalorians would be an Aerial/Enforcer hybrid, immune to the extra damage from headshots. each Mandalorian subfaction would be tied to a major faction, so CIS get Mauldalorians/Death Watch, Empire get Supercommandoes, and Republic/Rebels get Nite Owls, Dark Side get Gar Saxon and/or Pre-Visla as a Minor Villain, and Light Side get Bo Katan as a Minor Hero. whichever side holds Mandalore gets to use Mandalorian reinforcements on any map and the Minor Hero/Villain gets upgraded to a Major one and holds the Darksaber. but yeah, like you said, so much wasted potential.
Feel like the Magna Guard should have a weakness to stamina drain while blocking blaster fire similar but potentially more harsh than Grevious due to not being a force sensitive and to make it distinct from saber heroes. That way the stamina replenishing ability can serve as a recovery to blaster fire and not leave you vulnerable if needed to engage in saber combat.
I think its perfect, other than giving him a block that can deflect blasters. I know it's probably not possible to differentiate between a block against melee attack and ranged attacks, but if they could figure it out, it would be great for balancing and make the unit perfectly accurate.
Aside from the names, I think the abilities are well balanced and entirely believable for a magnaguard. I think superior programming isn’t really representative of the actual ability. It should have been called something like reinforce or overclock. Like wise his stamina ability should be something like heatsink or power reroute. Otherwise this is an A+ mod.
Melee class should there for every era, the jedi have temple guard, separatist have magna guard, empire has inquisitors, rebels have honor guard and the riot troopers for first order
