5:38 You'll also want a Deadly Jack (chest) with Divines trait, when running solo. You'll need to swap-in a piece of Deadly somewhere anyway, to make up for dropping a Deadly Ring, so you may as well get the most armor possible when doing so. 10:13 Now that Major Savagery has been stupidly tacked onto Sun Fire and its morphs, it _could_ serve as a sweaty-option, over Inner Light. The Vampire's Bane morph, while doing _nothing special at all_ to Vampires, is a DOT (which is also increased by Deadly) that last for 16 seconds, keeping your Illuminate passive active for its full duration. 18:24 The Mages Guild's ultimate morph of Shooting Star is also a really strong option, with instant AOE damage & stun, up-front, followed by a DOT.

Bro, love your solo builds, they are awesome! One thing worse mention for my opinion, about the CP in written guide. It will be much easier to see screenshots. I play with non english localization, and somethimes it's hard to figure out which star it's suppose to be. Anyways, thanks, you're awesome!

I had been playing stam builds for almost the entirety of my first year of ESO until I finally tested out Magplar using your last build. It's been my main ever since. I get the feeling of being melee without any of the downsides of being stam. The broken healing doesn't hurt either ;)

Great video. I really appreciate all the work. I'm struggling to get through the alliance points. I don't want to be a hindrance so I think I have to spin up a PvP build to focus on that. Psijic skill line was annoying, but happened fast enough. And the Slimecraw helmet...not as easy as ESO Hub says to get. Though I can solo Wayrest sewers with the build even without the ultimates. So thank you! Again, this was awesome work.

what a "Lucky" JUST got my magicka templar to lvl 50! srsly like 5 minutes ago this is perfect!!!

Managed to put this together during this Anniversary Event. Still need the Psijic skill and a few of the mage guild passives but wow…even not at 100% it’s an absolute monster. It feels like I am playing Diablo and just wiping dungeons.

I sure appreciate all your build guides. You are my go to guy for this game. I do have one question. What are some flex spots I could use on this build? Possibly to replace channel acceleration or sun shield?

As Magplar main. I freaking love this build. The absolute best by far.

Currently running False God's & Deadly Strike on my Breton. Overwhelming Surge, Scathing mage or War Maiden on body are great w/o a doubt 🤠 Most fun I have ever had on my Templar in 2 years.

I've tried running lots of mag templar builds. I have one question though, why run daggers if I use a high elf? Wouldn't it make more sense to run dual staffs?

No joke, that written guide... Amazing. I am leveling this character and am at level 31 and it smokes my CP1060 dragon knight...awesome.

Unstable wall also explodes if you end it early (by spamming it once more). It’s an insane mob killer

I’m hoping this is still viable for the current state of game cuz I wanna give it a go! I’ve heard Magplars are great for soloing and this video is proof. Amazing video and great information!!

Another suggestion I would offer is using introspection.( meditate morph) As long as you have the ring of the pale order, you can get all your resources back just by throwing out all your dots and aoe's, especially the aoes surrounding you, and use that. The damage coming in while holding it will be plenty enough to add to the heal to avoid death aside from one hits, then you just roll dodge, and start again until you're where you feel you need to be. Works pretty great actually. Solo content, obviously. Ring of the pale order loses most of it's usefulness in full groups.

What's the unbuffed spell damage and pen and mag recovery on this build? I don't recall seeing the character sheet once in this video. I'm just curious how my build stacks up with this one and what adjustments I need to make.

As a stamplar main, this looks intriguing. I may make a magplar and test it out. I do similar things with the stamplar, but it's just razor caltrops, endless hail, ROB, blazing spear, then biting jabs rinse and repeat. Gets kind of boring.

Quick question… Using inner light rather than a sun fire morph - I understand the 5% max mag and the mages guild passives buff but with the deadly set would that buff the dot of sun fire more? Also im not doing this solo so no mythic ring so i was planning on doing valkin soria (spelling?) so that sun fire would give me another chance at proccing that Does that make sense? Do you have any recommendations as to another monster set and whatnot? Love the build 🤘🏻 Thanks so much!

Great build, im almost done with it. Gear only left. But I have question, is there alternate to deadly strike set? Daggers cost is aprox.500k in guild traders. And on ESO forum people say that they opened up to 80 boxes to get deadly dual wield in pvp trader.

Thanks for this update! I have had trouble getting the daggers coz they are 900K each on the guilds and I don't know where to start in PVP. I got a deadly lightning staff instead as I think the heavy attack is buffed by 5 piece bonus. I will keep saving for those daggers though

Will this build be acceptable for the groups, both casual guild and PUGS I might run with or should I run a secondary armory build for those (and do you have a group build link please)? Finally, what UI and addons do you use on this build - my previous preference of LUIExtended is supposedly end of life and I need the extra help as my reflexes aren't what they were. Clear text info telling me when to replace buffs, block, interrupt and dodge is essential in my decade of life. Many thanks again Lucky

Hello Lucky! I've recently got back into ESO and have been using your previous iteration of this build - and it's been so much fun! I'm not the most skilled player so the easy rotation suits me just fine :) I don't feel right using daggers however - I'm not a min-maxer, so could I get away with using say, Deadly Inferno staff on the front bar instead? Apologies if you covered this in the video and I didn't catch it.

Thanks for this guide, I'm at 50 CP 30 so far and working on getting to CP 170 before gearing up. Puncturing sweeps pretty much carried me to 50 almost by itself it's so powerful but looking forward to getting the gear when i hit CP170 and getting rest of my skills all unlocked. I've never even done world bosses at all really on any of my previous times playing this game so I'm looking forward to hopefully being able to do some of them with this build. This is my first time hitting level 50 on any of my characters, I've played like 4-5 different times since ESO came out for short bursts but this game never really clicked for me until now, not sure if it's entirely due to ease of puncturing sweeps being good damage, some AOE, and self-healing, or ESO has gotten easier in recent years but i was worried about what to do while leveling as many of these skills i can't get early game however running puncturing sweeps and just throwing random skills from various other lines to level them up worked for me. I did some dungeons but most my time spent questing, sky shards, etc. as i know I'm going to need a lot of skill points, queued a few normal dungeons here and there just to unlock more skill points. But hoping this will be a good strong main for my account now and finally help me break in those champion points and farming that will help me get off my feet in this game. I'll likely be following your other builds later for my other characters too.

Hi, any suggestions for this build while leveling? I got the Puncturin Sweep and Inner Light, and working towards the Dawnbreaker skill. Currently level 16 so Sun Shieldn, Radiant Destruction and Accelerate are still off limits, any idea what some good replacements could be?

Question, I am going crazy here trying to figure out how to find equipment with deadly strikes on it, i can't seem to figure out what to search for on guild traders and tried that tamerial trade central site too. I tried googling dead strikes and none of pages i find on it tells me what the actual pieces of equipment are called so i can search it up on guild traders. I don't PVP and understand this is equipment found in PVP so I'm trying to find out how much it costs to buy and how to search for it. I must be missing something but feel so dumb as i can't figure it out :(. Trade site lets me search by traits but not by sets it seems which is odd to me.

Which written guide do I look at? Is it the first one that pops up or do I scroll down to the second on?

Using the Godly Templar Build from the site linked in this video but something not mentioned and was slotted to be mentioned on the website is Is Vampire worth getting for the passives for this build or would it be a hindrance because of the fire damage and such? I am a Breton if that helps.

This build is solid. I've been using it for 2 months and am enjoying questing and exploring the world of eso. I haven't changed my armor traits to divines yet because I don't own the dlc where you only can go to change it and I also don't have deadly daggers or the slimecraw. Thet said, just using the skills and the war maiden set has helped me in dungeons. Can't solo world bosses yet. If anyone can answer, I farmed wayrest dungeon multiple times and the slimecraw doesn't drop. Does it drop in dungeon 1 or 2?

I’ve played since 2015 long time I’ve never tried a trial or dungeon. I can make armor but u guy want to recommend weapons and armor that maybe drops from some dungeon Your channel is extremely helpful I do appreciate all u do for us Yet I don’t do dungeons or gather friends because every experience has been negative for one. The other is my Templar character is solo I stay alive most times. I have no mentor who has all the time to help who lives on an island by himself So I use Juliano magnus an will power I get up to 3500 Magica U all recommend Maelstrom weapons for example The best I ever did on my old dps knight blade was round 5 or 6 At level 50/160 with 790 champion pts and only 600 applied I’m ok My son got be started on this game and he has pasted He played from the beginning but didn’t have much time to teach with a family of 4 and all

Got deadly set and orders wrath, like in the written guide as well as Iceheart, all purpled, but instead of daggers I got a longsword, since the deadly daggers were hard to get for the moment, when parsing barely gettting over 30K, any fix ?

I have recently started playing this build (leveling still, just hit 43), and am really loving it. Question for you though, do you think that magplar self heal is going to be a target for nerfs? It seems very powerful compared to other classes. I obviously hope not and I do not think they balance much around solo stuff but just wondering your opinion on it.

I don't do pvp so I'm not going to be able to get caltrops. Unless there's another way to get to level 6 in Assult. Is there a substitution for it?

Hey Lucky, I am running your build atm, and I love it. But there is one thing I dont get. Why are we using the weapon damage enchant on the Inferno Staff on the back bar? Wouldn't it be smarter to use spell damage, because it buffs the Jabs aswell? Or is the backbar enchantment only buffing light and heavy attacks on the frontbar?

Finding Deadly Strikes set pieces that don't cost a fortune can be challenging (not to mention all the enchant and trait changes required). I run Mother's Sorrow which is much easier to find. Because of the increased crit chance on that set, I switched to the Atronach mundus to help with the terrible magicka recovery. With tri-stat potions (which are cheap) and the Restoring Aura passive buff, my magicka recovery is MUCH stronger. Because I don't have any levels in Psijic order (yet), I use Barbed Trap on the front bar for that Minor Force buff (and more Fighter's Guild passive goodness). Not as good but the stamina cost takes pressure off my magicka use.

Is this build also good in trials or should i choose a other class for endgame dps

I love this build… I hate to level up guilds on new players but whatever. What throws the ball out of the park is the PvP reliability.
