A character who taunts the player mid-game with lines such as “I would rather tear down your castle with a spoon than offer you assistance”, The Wolf does not mince words. As an AI Lord he is not the best ally in multiplayer or offline skirmish mode, his aggressive attitude toward other players making any military or economic assistance unlikely. As an AI opponent however The Wolf provides skilled Stronghold players with a worthy challenge. The series has always been known for its ability to test the mental dexterity of players and The Wolf’s addition to the Crusader 2 roster shows that this new game keeps that tradition alive.

god...wolf was hella hard (for me) in crusader1, he could just flat out kill you even in later stages, the only other AI opponents that could barely compete are Saladin, Lionheart and barely Caliph....hope they make him just as dangerous

I think Salahuddin was a tough opponent, because of his fear factor and massive economy, he doesn't spend too much money, making thick walls so he can start making money much sooner, and will ultimately end up with a huge army. Edit: I meant a tough opponent for wolf, not for me, I just spam horse archers and make many siege engines in Crusader 1, and the fun part is I never use any european troops, neither do I use ale production to help me, I play purely as an arabian :)

Wolf just like lord barclay in SH 2. He often uses all types of army and much trap in his castle

I doubt that AI will be very effective when it comes to attacking. It makes nice promotional videos but to make AI truly dangerous, it had to cheat a lot (Stronghold Crusader Extreme.) I also wonder if Horse Archers will be as broken like in the Stronghold Crusader and its variants.

!Yu.GoD!~Dragonfire One of the problems that made the AI so weak was that they were heavily limited of how many resource gathering structures they could build. If they would have been able to spread their production like the players do, they would be a way more effective due not being hindered by poor economy as easily. Even when they could afford forces, they didn't scale it to take account how far the match has been going on and/or how strong the enemy is at the moment.

Cute Gamer b(^_^)d yes, but ai's like lionheart have a good attack in this game, its best to counter them attacking before they reach your base if you dont want your walls in pieces. trust me, ai's are much better here.

The AI are quite varied...each AI is a different package, the wolf in particular was in my opinion the strongest AI in stronghold crusader 1, because he continually got stronger and stronger later in the game while most AI just sort of "Capped" their limits.

I believe he is bad and cruel as ally because he is A) A Cruel and Cold Lone Wolf. B) Alpha Wolf, he may see you nothing more but a "pup" undeserving of the title Lord. C) hateful on you Because you "Killed" Him. Hope this helped you ;)

Defeated him in skirmish first time. Tough enemy tho... But my defense was so good, I only had to think about offense. Failed 2 first sieges. 3rd times a charm. 10 carts with crossbowmen, 10 captains, 50 swordsmen, 50 assassins and 5 big catapults.

They have already made 8 "Meet the" videos, and they have said, that there will not be more than 8 characters, at the time when the game is released. But they have said that they will release at least 6 characters later

Finish the video and find your answer. 23rd of this month at around 6 pm according to this video and steam. I bought the game from a key site g2a ect and i only paid £12 god knows why they have been charging 28 for it on steam.
