@@Marksmen17 The humans in NIKKE's universe are just massive assholes for some reasons. Like you're one of the few rare humans to not treat NIKKEs like trash, so rare that almost every NIKKE find you odd to not be a prick to them. With that attitude, I don't think an abandoned fortress that doesn't attack the Ark would matter much to them, it's just like another NIKKE, they don't care to reclaim it, they just let it wither away and die.

My first reaction against Land Eater: - Phase 1 : shocked at the fact the rapture itself is this big stationary dome we've been exploring - Phase 2 : *IT HAS LEGS* ?!
For anyone wondering: Phase 1 is called Stronghold and found in the Wonderland Album in Commander’s Room. Phase 2 is called Land Eater and it is also found in the Wonderland Album.

Talk about timing right. My girls where firing and the beat distorted the sound with the beat drop. Then the land eater head popped out. I said oh I’m about to die.

I had Emma and Diesel left and right of center position when I ran Land Eater, and similarly, that mag dump at the start of phase 2 was something else entirely.
@@justinschultze409I don’t have to imagine apparently. Been playing a week and got Modernia my as my 3rd SSR on my 1st day (other two were rupee and one of her LBs) didn’t even know who it was until like chap 7. Best character in the game by far
I have a same opinion. I couldn't stop my hair standing up. After moving to the second phase, I fought with my full energy to win the battle. That was this music which drove me to do so.

@@younghentaii1772it actually seems like ESTi doesn't have his hands on this at all, which is a bit shocking considering how well he handled everything in DC. Cosmo is doing pretty stellar as the sound director for Nikke tho, and it definitely gives the game a unique sound compared to DC.
The fact they actually had to splice in the way the game itself drops the beat via the "building getting pissed off" is a testament to how well this music works within the game itself.
@Fartoxic the problem is the power underscalling, i saw that if you is under the recommended power you can lose up to 75% of your stats, 25% is minimal underscalling i belive
when i downloaded this game i thought it'd be a guilty pleasure i keep completely private. i am speechless it is so good, and it keep surprising me how much more it has.

I liked the most recent Co-Op cycle that had Land Eater as the target. The song really carried the mood when you had a good mix of random people all in synch with a common goal to outlast the boss beyond the minimum amount required for the rewards. Fighting, supporting and defending each other throughout the full duration of the fight.
That "silence" when the phase 1 ends... and suddenly it grow legs... before suddenly the beat become faster I got a goosebumps whenever i playing this boss
I like how the music notes be the same but the rhythm keeps the atmosphere tense. Phase 1, you know *where* your enemy is, not *what*. And Phase 2, well, Cosmobro, you took us in for a great ride. P1 also highly detailed that slow beat rythm signifying the fear of the unknown, and P2 is going all guns blazing. Phase 2 kicking in was one of the best transitions I have personally experienced throughout my gaming life, beautifully executed both gameplay & musically. Tl;dr Phase 1 : "That's where the enemy is, but we don't know what or who or how many, we must be careful" Phase 2 : "The entire building is the boss, les go bois the music just kicked in" P.S. - For once, our childhood dream of fighting a building is fulfilled with a legendary OST. This is a personal thanks.
You know what, for such a simple shooting game, I enjoy this game a lot, and the soundtrack screams a lot like Tekken. It's just that damn good. Nikke has so much potential to have an anime adaptation, if Blue Archive got one I don't see why Nikke couldn't.
I loved fighting this boss. While other bosses deal damage if you don't interrupt it, this one generates a shield. Its turtle like design is awesome too!
"Hey, its just a quiet old building with guns, whats the worst that could happen?" Land Eater: "Fuck yeah I am." *grows a pair of whole ass legs and turns into a devastating tortoise.* *proceeds to give one of the hardest battles, yet also one of the hardest soundtracks.*
This made me actually think about my squad, the skills needed to be used, the timings, made me actually aim manually, and made me sit up straight with the "oh shit this is actually hard" with my underleveled Nikkes who barely beats everything up to that point.
When fighting this boss my jaw dropped the same time as the beat dropped. Replayed the stage before I can kill the boss just so I can experience that godly beat drop again

This boss was amazing. Reminds me of Time Crisis with the multi phase and projectile shooting. Combined with this banger soundtrack in the background made this fight golden
Whats insane about nikke despite this ridiculous issues on release -Soundtrack is really sickly insane on point -Storytelling is topnotch -Humor it each story is relatable funny
This song kicks so much butt right as it changes beat. it doing so mid-fight vs a boss is just a chef's kiss, still get goosebumps from listening to it~!
