@Haitian Xu it kinda does. His stumach is stretched. And used to it. Her body isn't since she didn't stretch her stumach. Also. Wouldn't those competitie eaters throw up after?
@Haitian Xu Sure, but. Being big requires more food, so he'll eat more food. Meaning his body will get used to handling that amount of food. This also isn't competitive eating, it's not one sitting. So the body's ability to digest the food comes into play, If her stomach is still full when she starts eating again, its gonna be a disadvantage.

i mean if shes been really eating 1200 kcal and exercising a bunch for a long time shes probably starved like all of those influencers dumping few thousands calories on their cheat days
That’s called survival mode. The body is NOT meant to be on a diet and dieting doesn’t lead to sustained weight-loss. You will always always always gain the weight back and then some. You can’t override your body’s biology. The body will forever be smarter than any diet, fitness guru, or PhD. The body knows best, and any attempts to alter the body will backfire. Look up the Minnesota Starvation Study or read “The Fuck It Diet” “Rehabilitate, Rewire, Recover” instead of listening to these idiots. The body will lose the extra weight when you actually listen to it. -Anorexic for 13 years
Wow! I'm a 6'3 guy around 240lbs and I couldn't possibly eat that much in a day. The fact that she did is just amazing, huge props to her. Amazing determination and dedication to her husband too. Nothing but respect.

While you can obviously slather things in oil and eat sugary treats, with the absence of fatty meats in your diet you usually have to eat more to get the same amount of calories in, so it's pretty common for vegetarians/vegans to be big eaters if they're active people.
Brings me back to my power lifting and bodybuilding days, you truly have to put just as much work into a nutrition plan like that as the lifting regiment, respect brother, I'll stick to my 2500 calories a day
i'm surprised he isn't complaining more, or getting angry, got a mate that is a body builder and he get hangry and has to eat every few hours or gets physical hunger pains. So not convinced he could go without a snack off camera. but may of piled in as much food as possible just before challenge started also, and obviously went to town as soon as it was over XD
The more I watch of this channel the more I come to both love and fear Eddie. Dude is like a comic book villain with the looks and his voice but seeing him interact with his family is just incredible.
Being two meters tall and quite lean, I definitely relate with your wife, as I need to eat a lot if I want to take on weight. Especially in the beginning it was tough and I was only aiming for like 3000+ calories a day. Eating two much is way harder than not eating enough, especially if it's a one-off.
I'm actually curious about this. Eddie is obviously not nearly as large, but Andre the Giant was renowned for drinking 20+ beers in a sitting before getting drunk.
@@RohannvanRensburg He drank around a keg most nights.Not counting the hard liquor. Most he was seen to drink in one night was 2 kegs of beer and 3 bottles of vodka.Just 3 hours before a japanese fight.
i just wanna say thx to the beast eddie hall ,,you and others mainly u have inspired me to get back to being healthy i used to work out in my teens and 20s but then i got real lazy and fat 450 lbs now watching your vids and stuff i got back to the gym and lost 140lbs i changed my eating habits you inspired me and make me laugh thx very much

Johan w you’d actually be very surprised especially with women since a lot of times they stop themselves from eating to an extent, a great example would be Stephanie Buttermore. I personally think it would be possible for her to eat that much but I do think Eddie might have helped here and there but she still probably ate most of it.
Johan w It is possible because I’ve suffered from binge eating and starving myself for a while. Sometimes I have 1000 calories a day for a few weeks and in a binge day I’ll easily exceed 10000.
@@lancetheking7524 Of course not but it's way less of a deal than you imagine. I kinda did not eat for a day once, idk if it was exactly 24hs. Was I hungry? Yes. Was it that bad? Not at all.
@@DeMooniCI mean it depends on your blood sugar situation. Nobody dies from starvation for not eating for a day but starvations not the only thing that can kill you unfortunately.

the fact that you both were able to be calm and loving at each other, and even laugh throughout the day, while one was starving and the other one was trying to just breathe and digest, speaks volumes about your marriage.

This is so awesome I’ve always admired Eddie Hall the beast he is truly an exceptional human being his wife is very beautiful as well but I didn’t know she was into the same passion as he is so congratulations keep up the great work
Between starving and feeling bloated....both suck, really. Both could get you very sick, and Idk which one's worse, they're both champs for going through this.
2ould be nice if on video she showed the same kind of respect for him as he does her. Yes, she's cooked his meals, but he's not a child- she doesn't need to speak at him like a mother does a child.
